Oh my God I love this Song. I have been a fan of Anne Murray since I was about 13 yrs old. I remember hearing Snowbird on the radio before I left for School one morning. This ladies Beautiful Voice captured me then. I listen to all her Song's without fail everyday. I'm from Ireland will never meet my Favourite Singer. Sad. X 🌹💐🎤🎸🎶🎶🎵🎵🎼🎼👏👏☘️☘️☘️☘️
Only Anne puts into words how I ( and perhaps many others ) really feel . With her gentle , calm and soothing melody , she lets me know that all will be well eventually …. I just need to bide my time and maybe shed some tears. What a gem of a performance.
My mum's favourite song ... I'll always connect this song with her ... and yes, it was the flip-side of Snowbird. I'm almost 64 now, yet when I hear this song, I remember being about 11 going through to a teenager when she'd sing this at the top of her lungs! Love you mama, happy mother's day! Boy. ;) x
