Anne Murray is a Canadian singer. She was Huge in the 70/80's. This has to be one of the prettiest and poetic songs.

She has 4 Grammys, 3 American Music Awards, 3 Country Music Awards and 24 Juno Awards (Canadian version of Grammys). Not to bad for a Physical Education teacher from Nova Scotia, Canada.

Anne Murray is Canadian GOLD - and I have loved this song for as long as I remember. Never fails to give me chills. She does an amazing ballad with country icon Kenny Rogers called If I Ever Fall in Love Again - and an incredible cover version of Danny's Song by Kenny Loggins. Another favourite is You Won't See Me.

I think Anne Murray has a smooth/relaxing voice along with Chrystal Gayle & Christy Lane. Anne has many great songs. "Could l have this dance," "Broken hearted me, " "Just another woman in love," "A little good news," "Snowbird" is the 1st song l remember hearing from Anne. I'm pretty sure it was her 1st hit in the U.S.

Glad you enjoyed Anne, Ace. Just FYI, because you were asking, her last name rhymes with “flurry”. I’ve seen Anne in concert. Other songs by Anne I would recommend are “Snowbird“, “Danny’s Song“, “A Love Song”, “Flying on Your Own“, “When I Can’t Have You“.

I once worked in a clothing call center & got her on the phone. Helped her with her order & fangirled all over myself. She was a contemporary of Karen Carpenter. Great vocal tone.

This song re-invigorated Anne Murray's (the second syllable of her last name is pronounced with a long 'e') career. Before that, she had hits with "Snowbird" and "Danny's Song". Both are great, as is "A Little Good News", but "I Just Fall in Love Again" is probably my favorite of her later songs.

This is a good song. I also like her song "Snowbird." Anne also another goog where does a duet with Glen Campbell, "By The Time I get to Phoenix" (sung by Campbell) and "I Say a Little Prayer" (sung by Murray).

This played all the time in the 70s. Super popular. As for the quality of voice, I'd say it might lie square between Karen Carpenter and Annie Lennox. (Pronounced MER-ray.)

Both Anne Murray and Karen Carpenter have/had proper diction while singing. you could understand each word clearly. And both are Contraltos (So was Patsy Cline, BTW) There is just something magical about the Contralto voice. However, Karen had the wider vocal range between her and Anne.
