Thank you Colin! I used a very simple fingerpicking technique alternating between my thumb playing one of the base strings, index finger picking the 3rd string, and middle & ring fingers picking the 1st and 2nd strings simultaneously for each measure, all of which are in 3/4 time. The key is D major (D-Dsus4-G-A-Bm-G-D-Fm-Bm-A-G-Fm-Em-G-A (or D-A). B
Thank you David, I like your short rendition as well! I noticed we play all the same chords but you add a nice variation on the string of 4 consecutive A chords. B
Great song, good videos as always. I dont normally do this but could i please request you to play/sing cant help falling in love with you by Elvis Presley, as i said i dont usually do this but i need something to cheer me up as ive been struggling with depression/sadness for the past 2 months now and i think hearing you sing that will do just the thing, if not its fine i just thought id try.👋🙃
Thank you for your comments. Before I received them, I had already committed to posting a James Taylor song tomorrow and your requested Elvis song a few days after that! I hope my reply cheers you up.
