Annie and Abed moments - Community 

Never really realize this before but Annie was being a bitch with this one. Love her usually, but she invoked friendship to get Abed to help her, then had him sit for 26 hours straight and still had the gall to be mad the next day. At least she apologized for it though. And I agree with you, that was a top tier response from Abed.

@@hush-615 to be fair, she most likely expected Abed to be normal and reacted as a normal person would. She just didn't know Abed wasn't conventionally normal. Abed is the best and that bit also gets me every time.

It's like all his small smiles are little match strikes, teasing the possibility of warmth, and that smile specifically is a roaring bonfire: bright, almost blinding, and warm. That part always makes my stomach swoop but that may be because I'm very parasocially attracted to Abed lmao!

I'm pretty sure he based Abed on a real person he knew at CC (who he originally wanted to play but Dani Pudi was too good). What I think you meant is that he ends up being Dan Harmon's 4th wall breaking voice (like when he comments that the paintball episodes aren't parody but an homage). That being said, you are right in that no one looks down on him and one of the ppl who would (Jeff) actually ends up being one of the few ppl who acts as the translator between him and the group at times

They did throw development out, but annie clearly liked jeff throughout s2 and 3, and she was only attracted to abed when he was playing characters, all of which were similar archetypes to jeff.

mmm i disagree that they would of been good together relationship wise, i think their friendship is way cuter and more beneficial. also troy and britta are way better as best friends, they have no chemistry and their relationship didn't work, as to why it ended. i like that both pairings ended up as just friends because media pairs male and female friends together romantically way too often, a trope which community makes fun of. personally i think troy and abed being together would of made perfect sense, plus troy was kinda queer-coded anyway. either way, i do like how everything ended with everyone just being friends instead of hopelessly paring people together last minute. :))

good lord not everyone needs to be a couple. I also think Jeff and Abed's relationship is probably the coolest, Jeff is always ahead of everyone else in tracking where Abed's movie/tv brain is going because he was also raised by tv. He looked out for him a lot in the beginning and wanted to let him be himself when other people wanted to change him, then he just let britta, annie, and troy take care of Abeds real serious breaks, probably because he doesn't know how to handle those things. But I love how in the last season he ends up having a mental break of his own, with the G.I joe episode and the ending of the show is coming to terms with life not being like TV and people have to go and live their lives.

I definitely think Jeff and Annie are in love and have great chemistry, but like they have said themselves, the generational difference as well as the gap between their personalities ("I don't like the things you like because I'm..." "Older?" "Not lame.") are absolute deal breakers. Abed and Annie on the other hand don't have any of those problems... and especially now that they're growing away from each other through their job and internship I really feel like they might have a spark when they see each other again ♥️

I think that Abed and Annie would have been so much better, but if the movie does happen, I think it would sadly be Jeff and Annie

Abed is able to analyze situations in a certain way, but I don't believe he's the only one who is normal (even with the episode featuring their psych evaluation scores). Troy, Annie, and Shirley are fairly normal, though, they have their moments (just as Abed does too). Jeff and Britta are a bit deluded about how the world works and their role in it, seemingly as a coping mechanism from experiencing deep hurt in their younger years.
