Her vocal chords weren’t matured yet so it was hard I’m sure. She’s probably an alto, not a mezzo or soprano, which makes it even harder. She needs to learn how to sing through her diaphragm or head not her throat, but that’s extremely hard to learn especially as a child. Overall, she did a really great job for her age! (I’m just responding, not hating haha)
I played Annie in my town's production of this when I was in the third grade, so this really brings back memories for me! This cast was really great, I have to say! Bravo!
We are doing this play at our school and I am Tessie, so I watched this to get a look at what would happen. Very impressed! Everyone did great! I am SO excited to perform!!
Thank you for posting this- my daughter is doing Annie, Jr, and this has helped a lot. We listen to it weekly! Is that Alex Andersen ( Ivar the Boneless as Daddy Warbucks?!???) Great job, cast!! And whoever would openly insult teenagers bravely memorizing scripts, songs and standing on stage to present them clearly never did it themselves. They should be ashamed of themselves!!
Annie is such a wonderful musical, love it!!! Saw this in Sydney a couple of years ago with Anthony warlow and it was beyond fantastic but these kids did a great job and I totally enjoyed watching.
Miss Hannigan:Never tell a lie!😡 Miss Hannigan:Annie tell them how nice I was to you! Annie:Well the one thing you thought me was never tell a lie. AMAZING
Who did this? They need to put more feelings into their singing and the way they deliver their lines. A lot of them seem to have blank looks like some of them don't really want to be there.
This is really good! Why are half the comments saying that no ones inn key and the acting! NEITHER OF THAT IS TRUE! Also remember it's Annie JUNIOR! It's not going to be West End/Broadway standard! It's really good!
This is honestly, no offense, but...not good, they laugh when they shouldnt and try to hard but cant just...get it. They hit flats and sharps when they shouldnt and the choreography isnt difficult. Also rooster is supposed to be and octave lower.
Excellent production! I am directing this show in the fall. How did you do your backdrop? Were the images purchased or did someone create a image presentation that was projected onto the screen? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Really? She probably did the best she could. It takes a lot of guts to get up on stage in front of a crowd and sing a couple of songs. I'm guessing they practiced a lot. It's harder than you think!
maybe for you. Maybe you should have Tony by now! @Everyone: Crazy Collabers is the best actress in the whole entire world!!!! (incase you don't know I was being sarcastic). Also, I would've roasted you more, but you seem too young...
This is amazing! Great job on this entire play, it's great. We're doing Annie Jr., too, and I'm one of the orphans. Thanks for giving me a source to look up to!
38:22 I had the role of Lily (I am saprano btw so hitting the notes were easier) and this part the boy playing Rooster (really good friend of mine, so was the girl playing Ms.Hannigian. All three of us had good chemistry) would twirl me. It was a ton of fun
@@sw33g3r3 Oh no!!! All that hard work just for COVID to happen. I feel bad for everyone that was involved in that production or any others during COVID. I was in Charlie in the Chocolate Factory (Veruca Salt) and a different character in an original play. Both cancelled due to COVID.
This helped a lot thanks! My school is doing Annie Jr, and my best friend is Annie, and her mom is the chorus teacher. She is giving me the Apple Seller, I think, because we would have a line together!
You did a great job! I'm currently doing this show with 8-11 year olds and 2 13 year olds for Hannigan and Warbucks. It is a lot of work! Your students DO sing in tune.
@@4Word I wonder if you could tell me where you got the scene change music you used right before NYC? The show doesn't come with any and turning Warbuck's house into NY street scene without some scene change time is rather a challenge. I'd like to do something similar, but need to find the right soundtrack for it.
We are doing Annie at my school and I got Annie!! To top it of my best friend got grace! We are going to have so much fun, this show is great! Well done
I’m doing a school production of Annie Jr. In April of this year!! I don’t have a named role, but I am an ensemble orphan with a singing duet in never fully dressed and I have an acrobat solo in hard knock life!! I’m so exited and these kids did such a good job!!
@@4Word it was amazing!! But during the first show someone said the forbidden word and one of the bunk beds broke right before the show started so we had to move people really fast before the music ended and in tomorrow the music stopped and started over so they had to find the place while she kept singing. But overall I loved the show and it was an amazing experience!!
I just joined a theatre group and this is the show we're doing! They said that this recording is what we're basing ours after, so I guess it'll be the same
I'm researching up on different productions because i'm hoping to get Annie in my school's production. Interesting how different people perceive the roles.
We got to do this play in my last year of middle school. I know all the lyrics and was mrs. Greer. I cried with all the memories that came back...😢 Great job to all the kids in this version.
