BRUH I REMEMBER THIS MOVIE JUST A SECOND AGO WHEN "It's a hard knock life" popped up in my head. This was my absolute favorite movie. Might wanna rewatch againnnn
I’ve never thought about children’s rights before, but I’ve just realised that every song in this montage encourages you to think about children’s rights in a different way. ‘Maybe’ inspired me to give every child a happy family and caring parents, ‘It’s A Hard-Knock Life’ inspired me to end child trafficking and slavery, ‘Tomorrow’ inspired me to help children who experience bullying or abuse‘I Think I’m Gonna Like It Here’ inspired me to give every child a safe house (the song could literally be an advert for housing, because of all the places they mention, like a swimming pool or tennis court), ‘Easy Street’ inspired me to end child abduction and kidnapping (at least in the original film, that was what they were singing about), ‘You’re Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile’ is about helping children that live with someone who has depression, or who have mental health problems themselves, Opportunity could apply to any situation, from extraordinary things like filming Harry Potter films to going on Strictly, to things that most people experience like going to university or starting at a new job, so I suppose Opportunity is about helping children find a good education, because that’s arguably the best opportunity they’ll ever get, at least according to Malala. And I suppose I Don’t Need Anything But You could be for when children get older and start dating, and need a safe space, a trusted friend to talk to, and plenty of support.
All my friends didn't knew Annie was a musical, they thought It was just a movie they did in 2014. God, that drives me crazy, 'cause I love this musical!
Same i remember my school talking about it and saying did you watch it in cinemas but i never did cause my mom said no but i really wanted to the first time i saw the movie was 3 years ago great stuff
I was 5 2015 1 year after cause I didnt see the movie but my my neighbor my mom's friend she gave my mom the DVD and my mom let me watch it I loved the song " Tomorrow So I remember watching it over and over for a week and gave they let us keep the dvd 1 year later when I was 6 I lost it I was so sad I could not find the movie I was like NOOOOOO THIS IS TORTURE lol
I've seen the old version many times as a kid in the 90s; And as an adult I really liked this one. It felt so more relatable to me, and I felt everything genuine to me, I think its great they've remade it for the younger generation.
This show I grew up with. Im so happy that this amazing little actress is playing such an iconic part of my childhood. Way to go girl! Don't listen to anyone who says that you are anything less than fantastic!
Tommy gun It doesn't matter of her skin tone. Leave her alone. I never saw a reason why Annie shouldn't be black. I never see people complaining about whites playing in movies. LEAVE HER ALONE.
Annie is such a wonderful movie and it means a lot to my dad. He can relate to Annie so much. I'm blessed to have a father like him. He didn't grow up with a father or a mother figure. He couldn't help but cry during the movie and so did my sister and I. This is the best film I've ever seen.
Saw this movie and absolutely loved it! You're never fully dressed without a smile and Opportunity are stunning and well sung. I'm 33, and cried shamelessly to this movie least 2 times. My 35 year old brother cried 3 times. Lol beautiful movie.
Wow so excited for Annie The songs and scenes look really good I love that the songs have been changed I love Sia never fully dressed with out a smile and opportunity I cant wait for the cd for my christmas present :)

OMG THIS IS MY CHILDHOOD MOVIE I WATCHED THIS A MILLION TIMES WHEN I WAS 5 TO 6 AND THEN I LOST THE MOVIE DVD AHHHHH 2015-2016 now I'm 10 ahhhhhhhhhhhh
This movie is magic... You don't know what to expect. I love and recommend this movie fully. Annie in this movie is played very well and is a beautiful actor.
Plz don't start hating on this comment: I saw the movie yesterday, it was great in my opinion. Everyone needs to stop hating on this little girl! Everyone keeps saying "she's black....blah blah blah..black.blah blah blah." But it's just racist that everyone is judging her because she's black meanwhile u didn't even see the movie!! It's just not right in my opinion.
I've not seen the movie but it looks great they made it different so it could stand out to all the other Annie films with the little ginger girl (sorry if that didn't make sense)
No hate I'm really glad they had a black man a white woman and a mixed/black child instead if all one race. Probably gonna get hate but it's good to see different races in a movie then one constant
I saw Annie last night with my little sister and her friends.. Annie is one of those movies that will melt your heart, an emotional rollercoaster a sweet story that will make you remember why kids are the most beautiful precious beings. The acting was amazing that little kid can act, the cast was awesome! Great movie thank you for making Annie into a person my little sister can actually relate to! "
no matter how good things may be, there s always gonna be people who'd have something to say about it. mean while they can't make it right if they were in that position.for me I luv this movie and the black Annie soo much.
For you guys saying that this movie was bad the only reason you're saying that is because you're comparing it to the original I mean if the original didn't exist and this was the original it wouldn't be a bad movie so stop hating

When I heard that they were going to make a re-make of Annie I was skeptical. Then I heard that Beyonce and Jay Z were Producing it and I got SO FEAKIN' excited because I knew if all else fails, the sound track would be FANTASTIC. I'm happy to say that the movie was great and the musice exceeded my expectations. Great job to Quvenzhane Wallis!
If you notice in the movie she's never actually reading the letter, she glances at it but mostly just looks at her friends as she says what's actually on the paper. I think someone read it to her when she was younger and she just memorized it.
It sorta disgusts me that people hate how she's black. So what. And stop sayin she can't flipping sing. She put her best into it. So don't bloody destroy her spirit. She put a lot of effort. And right now, the reward she gets is people comparing her to the old Annie, and saying that she can't sing. She is great. I love this film more than the original. But this is just my opinion.. Please no hate, it's just my opinion.
1-it's a remake. Of course people are gonna compare it to the original 2- just because she put a lot of "effort" into it doesn't mean she's good. The whole movie was overly autotuned and it ruined the whole thing
Dude my favorite movie 💅🤧 when I though of the song, I thought of this movie and how great it was, that I was about to spend the whole day finding the movie no matter what but am so happy I found it😭😭😭😍
I grew up with Alicia Morton's "Annie," so it's hard to beat a cast that includes Victor Garber, Kristin Chenoweth, Audra McDonald, Kathy Bates, and Alicia. That'll always be my favorite version of "Annie."
Annette Verdugo WHAT THE FUCK IF THEY COULD NOT FIND A little white girl with an AFRO!!!! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>where all the little white girls with afros!!!!! I haven't seen them.
I don't like that they acknowledge that they're singing. It doesn't work on screen at all. If the characters are aware that they are singing then it calls into question how do they know the words and the dance moves, and why isn't anyone else saying anything, and in group numbers how does everyone know what to sing and when to come in, and isn't it strange that Annie happens to go to stay with people that just randomly burst into song as well
I actually liked that they did that lol it was very interesting. and to answer your question how long do you think those orphans have been at the orphanage they probably sang and danced while cleaning everyday. their foster mother was a singer before so theres that too. now for everyone else from what I saw the tux guy only danced in the club/restaurant other than that its suddenly dancing and singing which is only like 2 other ppl.
they did a little in the original too, and the play, miss hannigan said. "do i hear singing in hear." after maybe, and when the president was telling everyone to sing.
I liked this movie but nothing can replace the original. I literally watched the movie Annie everyday when I was little and I would tap dance along with her
I miss this movie ;.; and the song “Tomorrow” we used to sing that in school. Mama said/ Hard knock life (I’m not sure) (it was playing at a convenience store and I was getting Annie vibes) and Tomorrow hits me the most.
