The blanket is lovely in the red, white and blue and definitely would be made into a bigger blanket by me. The bag is ok and yes better in a different color.

The crochet scarf had a scalloped edge. That’s what I would describe as. Tell Cody to ”bee”have himself.

I think I would make two shawls, Glenda. Of course, I would need to take a closer look at the scarf pattern. From what I could see, I would prefer the shawl. I loved the Americana baby blanket. I would absolutely order more yarn to make it a little larger and make more! Thanks Laurie and Glenda for sharing the Annie Kit Club kits with us. I may have to look at them more closely. I subscribed years ago and was not impressed. You have shown some much nicer kits recently. Still $25.95 a month is a little on the high side. I will have to think on it!!!

I just have to say, I would have to use both lots of yarn to make the shawl, I really don't like the scarf, it gives the impression that it has been scrunched up in a ball and thrown in the corner, it would drive me batty, hahaha. I like the shawl, but I also like the yarn that came with the shawl for the shawl. I was not a fan of the color or pattern for the scarf. Baby blanket looks fun! I've gotten into a new habit. About 5 years ago, I started making 2 blankets when I make "baby blankets" Personally, I like wrapping babies up like little burritos, so I like to make a longer blanket that is not so wide, turn it sideways and that is perfect for swaddling! It typically covers the top of a crib/toddler bed mattress. So it can grow with your child and they continue to use it longer! I also make the little squar(ish) blanket that looks like it could only be enjoyed by a newborn. People temd to like those as car seat covers or little keepsafes where as a bigger blanket would be harder to store.
