Cody does a fantastic job!!! When I was a new crocheter, I was awful! His work is just amazing. That yarn is pretty!!! I liked a lot of those colors! I liked the blue and the berries color yarns.
I’ve been printing off a lot of your stitch of the week patterns, and following along while watching the video. I struggle so much to read patterns, and doing this has definitely helped me to read and understand them better. Especially with this pattern. Wdc2tog, as soon as I saw that, I would have normally gave up. Thank you for being so detailed and putting up tutorials as well!

Glenda, as for those jumbo yarns, I don’t think you realize how large the afghans turn out in short order, with not that many skeins. Talk about quick! I have been crocheting over 40 years, & I rarely -if ever- follow the care instructions on 100% acrylics & such. (Only animal fibers & linen would bring me concern.) I wash and dry all my items - mostly Afghans. I include care instructions with any gifts that I give away. I wash in cold/cool water and I recommend (and personally) dry on extra low heat or air fluff. 😄
Now I'm not going to do red white and blue I'm going to do tan and brown and beige I am a country girl and that's one of my blanket for my bed and I also love turquoise

Went to local Joann’s. Good yarn buys, however, as they have cut lighting in the store, couldn’t really see it to check it out. Air conditioning was full blast, so it can’t be a money issue. Not a fave store anymore. Order online now.
