I signed up for 3 clubs after seeing Arkansas Gals open hers. I figured why not try? I got the designer fat qtrs, charm packs and holiday crafter. The holiday one was $40 for the monthly subscription, the other ones were $24. I wish I'd also got the solids like you, gorgeous colors!! I'll probably cancel 2 and keep one for a while.

Hi Fallon. Solids are usually about 25% cheaper so I would imagine that is why you got 8 fq rather than 6. Enjoyed watching the unbaggings.

They are all beautiful fabrics. Solids cost less to produce because they don't go through the printing process, they are just dyed, so they are less expensive to buy.

I'm guessing because solids are less expensive , maybe that's why you got more in the solids pack?

Really like the jelly roll you received. Also pretty colors in the solid fat quarters. Many years ago I was in one of the clubs and for no reason that could be explained my subscription was cancelled. When I asked for it to restart they said they couldn’t restart at the point it was cancelled but would start from the very beginning. Obviously I didn’t need what I already had received. So after that I’ve been hesitant to sign up for any of their clubs. Hopefully my experience was a fluke. Look forward to see what you receive next month.

You know. I have read about people having trouble with the subscriptions. That is so unfortunate. I have subscribed to a few, the knit afghan for me and my mom. I also tried the holiday quilters and their previous fat quarter. I never had an issue, but I have read reviews from so many that did. I wonder if it is an issue with how their website is set up because it honestly isn't very user friendly. It's weird that their account website is on a completely different website from where you sign up.

Solids are a 'basic' printed in massive, repeated quantities, like in bulk-quantity buying from a manufacturer, and thus bsasics cost less than 'lines' by designers; this is just what I gather over years of fabric buying, but almost always yardage. I'm on a major fabric fast for months now and have been doing mostly pretty well (a less than one yard remnant here or there). UNTIL this video, my lady! I just signed up for the charm packs monthly - with shipping it's a good deal imho for the regular monthly cost. I've always dreamed about every week or so having a fresh dish-drainer-cloth, i.e. 12x30 table runner, next to my sink. With these raining down on me, I will be obligated to sew them up, right? Too pricey . You have to cancel right when your first shipment arrives, they are very fast to charge for the next one

I think it is a good deal for the price of the first kit. Even if I get one more shipment of each it still evens out to a great price... of course, that is only if you like the fabric you get!

Seems a litle pricey. Do you have to agree to order so many pack or can you cancel after te free ones that you get? For the price feel that you should get printed ideas with the package. So people don't have computers.

I haven’t tried to cancel as I want to at least try one more set of each, however, I couldn’t find anywhere in the faqs that show you can’t cancel after one order.

Judy, I logged in and cancelled one of the Fat quarter subscriptions just to test it out. It let me. Hope that helps!
