@@captainbattlaxe4535 Haven't gotten into Last Epoch yet and I haven't played PoE in a WHILE. Which would you most recommend to satisfy some ARPG cravings?
@@Onkruid Hm. When it comes to content, path of exile easily. It has like 15 years of development under it's belt and has a massive endgame. Last Epoch certainly has a lot less endgame content and most people would probably get bored of LE faster than of POE. That being said, Last Epoch has some super clever endgame systems and is now also in their "league mode" where they basically release new content and add to the endgame every few months, so it could be fun to be there from the start. Also last epoch has a very simple entry compared to POE where you kinda have to play half the game on google because it is so complex. If you wanted to go into LE blind and just pick a skill and build around it, you can do that and probably see 95% of the content the game has to offer, even if your skill is not considered meta. To answer your question: I think it depends on A: how much time are you willing to invest into the game? If it's a lot, probably go play POE. If you wanna take it more chill and have less time, LE is probably better and B: Do you want to just jump in and experiment around, trying to create your own playstyle? If yes, Last Epoch is better aswell. Respeccing, changing build etc. is super simple and you can test around a lot.

I completely follow your reasoning and I think at this point in time, LE would then be the best fit for me. PoE's endgame is great but I don't think I have the time to really get lost in an ARPG again, or don't want to invest the time is maybe a better phrasing. Thanks again and have a nice day!
@@XDJonnyboy I am cooking on that part atm. I almost managed to kill Lagon at 170-ish corruption without him phasing with, still, very bad non optimized gear. I think it will be nasty for bossing.

i ripped mine before getting to the end of monolith. felt super comfortable then got 1shotted with 2k health. build is surprisingly good (i did almost the exact same as you).
I've been doing something similar but with Judgement Paladin. I have 100% crit chance, 850% crit multi, almost 3k mana which means 1500% more damage from just Pious Offering (a passive in Judgement tree) the clear is also really good because of the fire damage aura you get from Anointed passive. You should try it, leveling it as an alt is also very easy with the Hand of Judgement unique, easily carried me until I got World Splitter
@@captainbattlaxe4535 yeah idk about Shaman, in Paladin I just use Volatile Reversal to get all my mana back, and dash forward to the position I was before I cast it
so how does the loot filter work? the description says i've to add something, but i got no clue what and how to add things, hence why i usually use someone's loot filter that's already sorted
i feel like void well is buged or very contradicting, it says you consume 1 essence but then says consume 3 instead underneath so im not sure whats going on here
Once you are crit capped you sustain your mana on bosses and can kinda hold rightclick on them. The biggest weakness are bosses where you lose a lot of uptime and drop all your void essence stacks. The DPS is really good as long as you keep your uptime.
Loving erasing strike this patch especially with the boss DR rework. I'm running something similar but i dropped rive altogether. I found that at around 400 mana you don't ever really need to manually regain mana using rive. I just use abyssal echoes for even more multiplicative damage, status effects, and shred (void cleave activation). How are the echo nodes working for you? I'm not quite sold on the utility yet.
In the endgame planner I also swapped over to Cleave + Abyssal Echoes :) I really like the echo nodes. Not sure if you mean the one in Erasing Strike or in the VK tree, but I think both are quite nice for pretty much the same reason: They both get the full axe scaling since they echo the initial hit, despite both costing less mana (Skill tree one 60, VK tree ones are free) and both contribute to Void Essence. The one in the Skilltree also gives you access to the biggest individual "more" damage multi in the tree, being the 25% more damage to slowed enemies.
@@captainbattlaxe4535 ah sorry for the lack of clarity, i meant the one in the passive tree. I keep swapping them for other direct damage passives as I'm not wholly sold on the additional 30% echo chance. I mean it's hard to top an extra trigger of erasing strike but the randomness gets me sometimes. Your point on void essences though is the kicker though. Thanks!
Is Volatile Reversal important to this build? I'm wondering if it would make sense to switch to another skill. It's not a lot fun to maintain VR buffs.
@@wojciech9001 volatile reversal is probably the most OP sentinel spell. Is it 100% mandatory? Probably not. You could remove some VK points and go 15 into Paladin for sigils. But you will lose out on a LOT of damage and utility. Getting good at reversal not just as a buff tool but also as a mobility tool is very rewarding because literally every sentinel build I can think of uses it and you can do some really cool dodges with it. But yeah, sigils with void conversion would not break the build.
love the playstyle of this build. couple questions tho how good is the single starget dmg and what sources of defence do we have? i saw the res isnt capped in the planner so is there a way to get this?
Hi! The single target is pretty good, I will be making a build update soon to display higher corruption and some bossing. Deffense has been the biggest weakness of Erasing Strike historically, but I think we could use the new mana helmet for a really good defensive layer. I don't have it yet since I am COF, but once I tested it I will update.

Nope, not yet. I'm at 150 corruption atm just vibing. I was gonna add a buildplanner of my current gear later to show how bad it is compared to what is possible, but yeah, 150 is the highest I have done with the build so far :)
Your build is great, but this build's gameplay in particular shows me the issue I'm having, there's no impact! You're crushing the screen and it looks so... not serious
