@@cjh0751 Yes, but you can not take anything away from Dave's Mustaine's songwriting. Rhythm Playing, and overall impact on Thrash. Even Jeff most likely would admit to that!

Jeff is one of the most authentic guys in metal. He doesn't need to act like a tough guy to make his music sound tough. He's in for it for the music! Fantastic performance as always and I love it when he's behind the mic!
LOL - Shame on the Soundengineer. You didn't know about you are talking. Sorry, but that's the truth. Listen to Judas Priest 1983(!) THIS was a SOUND ENGINEER! Sad for Jeff and his famous band. But the sound is shit! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yMVV_HsHcX0.html
@@Broeseler Lol. And you know what you're talking about? Then you'd know that these festival show videos have their audio taken directly from the soundboard, with no post processing done. The mix sounded completely different to the people actually there.
@@TronciM Its actually overrated because its the only song annihilator get recognized for. Its like 5 times more played out then any other song by them. I think they have made better songs in the 30 years since that song came out.
@@METALADIX I'm 2 years late but I think there's no way they have made a better song. There's a reason they didn't get as big as others. Jeff's composition abilities peaked in their debut.

I love Jeff Waters, he has to be my favorite guitarist. I also appreciate the fact that - even for such a short set, only 46 minutes - they still play a lot of their older songs, and not only the "expected" ones (Alison Hell and King of the Kill are mandatory obviously, but Human Insecticide? Not so much !)
@@RichGray awesome stuff you guys, we need you guys in the US! San diego pls hehe. Would be cool for You guys to bring back Torn, I Want & The trend live! \m/ rock on
I think he needed someone like Padden again, sing and handle extra guitar duties. I don't think waters is good as a a singer, not really bad though. However he puts on an amazing show and performance. I mean he is 51 here!
I Just got back from Wacken Festival this morning, and will be heading out to Bloodstock again on Thursday! I was there for this last year too and Annihilator are always so tight live! This is awesome, Really great audio and visual quality too!
I never had doubts that Jeff can deliver the goods playing wise. They were tight and amazing when I saw them back in 1996 FFS..I was not expecting Jeff to sing so great live though...Good job!!!
Jeff has put together some incredible groups of musicians to be the band “Annihilator” over the years, but this group is so talented, and focused, they make it look effortless.
I only know their debut album but i have to say they sound exactly as on that record....its rar that bands can recreate the album sound that good....I Like
Try listening to their live at the masters of Rock 08. Easily the tightest, cleanest flawless live show they've done. Imo one of the best live thrash shows ever hands down. Do yourself a favor and check it out.......you'll be blown away!
And you´ve heard nothing yet... This band had so many different amazing eras, so many different amazing singers.. And a lot of good albums, song after song xDxD
Fantastic show from Annihilator. Saw them live in 1990 during the Never Neverland tour... this brought very fond memories.. And AH is easily among the top 10 thrash songs of all time.
This is the first time I listen closely to Annia since Dave is gone. I think the'yre good, but I prefere Dave Padden on vocals. The performance is great and the band seems to be really happy, aspecially Jeff! Such a cool guy! Aaaand credits for the great R&M shirt! Too bad, the set is a bit short but it's a cool selection of songs though! Hörns Üp!
