Congrats on your first year! About the dwarves, the Rock and Stone Mining company often hires mercenaries, these mercs tend to be in small armies protecting the cargo or the workers, eventually creating the S.H.O.R.T. (Super Heavy Operational Response Team) squad to deal with potential problems.

The lead storm dwarves stole victory, not by higher tech, but by brutal, raw, firepower. This has been a joy to watch. Its kicked off our little club.

They're the Short'nuff Maiming Guild, a crack team of short kings deployed when a big problem calls for a little gun. Congrats on one year of youtube, here's to many more!

They are the Good'nuff Roughnecks: A smaller piece of a massive Dwarven guild only dispatched when things have gone wrong.

This is the A.M.U. (Aggressive Maintenance Unit) of the dwarven guilds. They tend to "fix" problems with overwhelming firepower.

The Steel Town Exploration and Reclamation Task Force, sent out into the world to get the resources to keep the factories of Steel Town functional by any means necessary. Rushes in the sector (anything from gold to shaving cream) are just legendary with the many firefights that they have caused.

I’d imagine them as the Minor Miner Drill Team. They frack planets, and asteroids, and are your go-to guys for preventing asteroid collisions, when you have no other options available. Would definitely be interested in the Dwarfs, but if you are worried about shipping to Europe, then Australia is probably out of the question…😂😢 Congratulations on what I consider to be a very successful first year on RU-vid. Ironshield Brotherhood Descendants of the last defenders of a shattered planet, the Ironshield Brotherhood roam the stars in massive mining ships, determined to reclaim the remnants of their lost worlds and colonies from those that would claim what is theirs. Happy anniversary by the way, love the channel. Good use of the Battle for Macaragge shield/forcefield terrain pieces, I'm going to copy that idea.

Your video on Halflings got me to start digging into OPR! Congrats on a year sir. As far as the dwarves are concerned...I don't have a cool narrative, but my first miniatures army ever was made of ol Warhammer Fantasy dwarves that I earned for blowing and removing a half acre of leaves. The little guys are dear to my heart :)

"We may not be the best. But we're better than the rest." The Good'Nuff Guild. They lost out on a land claim to a more prestigious Dwarf Guild, and have been taking it out on everyone else since.

About the morale tests regarding units vs wounds. It's units, wounds don't matter. So if you have 3 guys with 3 tough, they only take a morale check when two units are removed, not at half wounds.

I've been working on the locals at my local game club to play OPR. I'd use them as a lure to get more people into the game! The Bugmman Energy Guild Expeditionary group - after their role in some great endeavour that went sideways (don't mention the Radience Cascade!), the BEG group seeks new ways to exploit their new energy source across the galaxy...

I already get my own DG army, but for the fun here is the background : The space dwarf guild, Infrarock, is an ancient society led by the mystical Queen Elara Forgebrume. Living in asteroids they’ve transformed into fortified citadels, they are masters of rare metals and mining technology. Deeply spiritual, they believe their asteroids are blessed by ancient spirits. While they are open to trading with outsiders, they hold a disdain for other dwarves, weary of being unfairly blamed for their kin's bad behavior.

Some quick contexts, when I was visiting my first gaming store, they had some kind of tunneling vehicle bursting from the ground in the display case. If I got the dwarven army I would get some assault drills and make it some kind of miner themed army. Then I would print off a robot legion army and my son and I would play on the kitchen table.

I would call them, An Comunn Seasmhach, The Steadfast Guild. Great game. I really thought the Elves had that game.

I have a small DG army that’s from a tundra environment , these dwarves would be there cousins from the Desert portion of the planet. I’d name em the Sandstone Hewers.

My dwarfs would be Wormhole Prospectors, after finding precious gems on in the wake of a demonic invasion, they search for new demonic incursions in the name of capitalism. (They would be fighting a lot against my pal's wormhole demons)

Team 3D: Drink, Dig and Destroy. We came to drink beer, dig holes and destroy elves. We drank our beer and dug the holes. Only one thing left to do.

I'd call them the Grimchode's Raiders. They're freebooters who have been running a covert ore extraction operation for a couple years on an alien hives world. Taran Heavy Industries - militant mining company for hire, presumed to be disbanded yet it came back with a backing of a mysterious magnate to destroy any Elf settlements in the sector Taran mean "battering ram" in Polish so I thought it sounds cool.

I would name the army Terry's Toads, as I would give the army to my friend Terry who isn't in the financial position (he has a full house) to acquire an army. We have a weekly D&D game and a weekly One Page Rules Game so this would allow him to play with us!

In the subterranean caverns where the Dwarf weapon forges made sounds of good honest hammer on steel Stunty McDwarfface (316th of his name, and also the 316th Dwarf to wear the family heirloom "the underwear of heat resistance") received a message. Elves has been spotted Imperial planet of Fred. Little known to the Elves that the planet Fred's full name was Fred McDwarfface. Named after his (not so) great, great, great, great grand sire who was the first being to land on the planet due to accidentally running into the planet on the way home from the pub. This Elven offense to the "Clan McDwarfface" name could not, nay, would not stand! Half of the clan McDwarfface loaded up on Dwarf built space transports and headed break some Elven arms and legs (them being so thin and spindly). Unfortunately the other half to the Dwarf force needed to travel by Human transports, but due to height restrictions when not being accompanied by an adult got let behind... Still Stunty was pretty sure the pretty Elves were going to know the feel of a pint glass to face and looked forward to retelling the tale on his return! Stunty McDwarfface deserved more than one sentence ;)
