Anno 1800: Docklands DLC - TUTORIAL, REVIEW - The Endless Shopping Mall! 

I know I'm late to the party, but I recently bought Anno 1800 and all 4 season passes from Humble Bundle. Your tutorial for docklands is very good for learning the basics about this. Thanks as always for the wonderful and understandable guides.

Will you do a video about tourist season? I enjoy your content very much, you explain things well and your warm, friendly voice is very nice to listen to.

Ever been in Hamburg? There is the original dockland warf with this look. Built end of the 19th century. Including this cute bridge.

Ohhh yess Anno!! I love your Factorio and Satisfactory vids (bookmarked for when I need tips). I just unlocked Docklands in my recent play of Anno and it's perfect timing that this video popped up!

@ 24:00 My guess is that those boats are on platforms so they can dry out. They would be made out of wood, and wooden boats need extra care.

I don't know if you already know, but you can build roads in the sea now. So you can use streets instead of quays (spelling?) if you want to

You can just double click and hold of the second click to move items around that you already put down. You don't have to delete it and build it again. You can just double click and drag the item you build. Just be careful trying that with Museums Zoos or the Palace. Sometimes if you go to move them all as a whole if just one thing gets in the way it will automatically delete that part of the building. So maybe don't drag the whole building itself. Do it piece by piece.

Docks! Great big docks!

My wife said I am not allowed to watch your RU-vid channel anymore, when I bought Dyson sphere program, but here I am =)

the dock building part was in anno 2070 but it was more decorative as you only got the main dock/storage unit some piers/quay the repair crane and a AA or naval gun I think. That said this is way more detailed then what was in anno 2070.

Kind of wish they would Nerf it a bit. Or have an option to choose if you want to use the multiplier or not. Maybe add a few specialists that specialize in the docklands itself. Perhaps even a cap on how much you can import and export at once. It would be much better I think if there wasn't an infinite amount of space on the trading ship that comes to docklands would help nerf it. You start at 300 tons. Then can upgrade the ship... Or get a specialist that gives you 500 tons. Eventually working your way up to 1000 tons at a time. I love the challenge and micromanagement of all the islands. I feel like the current way docklands is set up it cheapens the game a bit. Hence why I don't really use it that much right now. Makes everything too easy right now. Docklands has so much potential to make the game substantially better.... Just not the current way they have it set up. I really think they should start with capping out how many tons of good you can fit on the boat at once. And make it count towards all the docklands that you build. Maybe make it upgradeable as to how many ships trade at the docklands. That and a finite amount you can fit on each ship would be great 👍
