In this video I let Crusader Kings 3 (CK3) run for three days straight, simulating thousands of years of human history if humanity never left the medieval age! An odd outcome ensues.
So apparently there’s a legend that can be created that either mass converts your realm, and another than can convince foreign realms to convert to your pacifist faith. Hindu ruler probably converted to Jain via Stress, then converted their realm, and convinced the rest of the world to embrace pacifism. Very balanced new feature.
I mean, in fairness, it took until the 3rd millennia for that to happen which you’d never expect to get to in the game so I don’t know if that’s evidence of it not being balanced lol.
@@czechslovak4651 With christianity being religion of slaves and bearing so much similarity to jewish faith roman clergy did not see it as a danger to "true romans", add on top of that palestine not being too important of a province and general inclusivnes of roman faith towards other gods so they just gave that "invisible god of jews that say they are not jews" place in pantheon and thought they are done with it.
@@xzardas541 I didn't mean they thought of it as any kind of real threat before the time of Diocletian. But you can quickly tell the difference between the early c's and the j's of every era based on the militant attitude. One of those two groups is waiting for a worldly conqueror to arrive in the flesh and create a race based theocratic world empire with fire and sword. While the other group was waiting for the "return" in a divine form and didn't believe that it was their job to conquer the world with the use of violence, because it was to be done by the "messiah" at the "end of the world" with an invading force of immortal beings from the sky. One of those two ideas sounds like the corrupted exoteric form of an esoteric mystery school, and one sounds like eastern barbarism. Personally, I don't think the Roman intelligence operatives of the time were naive enough to not notice that difference, but I could be wrong. I wasn't there to know for sure.
@@czechslovak4651 I dubt that average senator would even bother to take closer look at what slaves and eastern barbarians are worshiping, and those that did would not have time to worry about it with amount of internal backstabbing in senate and half of roman elite being hell bent on becoming senators with the other half trying to murder the current ones. Btw that "worldly conqueror to arrive in the flesh and create a race based theocratic world empire with fire and sword" realy did not work out for those guys with how austrian painter turned out, oh the irony.
My idea would be retrying this with diseases turned to max, esp. the Black Death. That ought to keep the number of notable NPCs down and combat the lagging, as well as ensure not everywhere is 100 Development afterward.
Seems pretty self evident that Svetambara is the One True Faith and that Aachen is the Empire of the Gods. Now if only you let this save run in EU4 for just as long, we'd be able to witness the intergalactic hyper war...
10:52 is actually the most usefull when everybody is strong as hell, allow You have more land and lose stress easy. Too is good for the transition because indian tolerance.
i have a video idea. how many religions can you create before you can no longer make a religion. like if you can't make new norse faiths you move on to christian. an so on until you can't make a religion.
@11:30 it's kinda funny that the strongest realm in 3100's has kinda low number of MaA for its size and still some shitty troops as pikemen and low quality norse troops like vigmen and bondi. A competent player without super minmaxing can have around the same numbers in 1250. Sure it's capped by tech and accolades extra slots but still super funny that almost half of their MaA is shitty.
If you turn off Ironman you can go into “observer” mode which makes it so you aren’t playing as a character, and you will be able to watch the game without interruptions
"Alba" isn't pronounced quite how you think: It's an untranslated Gaelic word, and if it's spelling were to match it's pronunciation in English it would likely read as "Alipa", with emphasis on the al rather than lip. Alba was one of the precusors kingdoms that was consumed into the medievil kingdom of Scotland; When you say it's related to Britannia you're possibly confusing it with Albion, which is from the word the Greeks used to describe the northwestern european archipelago that today we (mostly) call Britain. To my knowledge, there's no link whatsoever between Albion and Alba.
Oh btw you can make alternative history and comentate it. For example what if Roman empire never fell?(TFE mod) or sassanids could defeat arab invasion. What if kingdom of judea was born in the middle of roman empire? What if roman empire invade of persia was successful. What if western roman empire survived instead of eastern empire. Or not even mods just what if alexander the great was resurrected? Anything? I would make those videos but im too lazy and I don't have a RTX1Million which clearly you have leaving your pc running ck3 until the year 3000
