@@miahua9111 haha lol I would tell you but I don’t want to share my location online. If you have a small library you can suggest it- sometimes they actually listen
I did this with my best friend twice already but instead of me annotating my favorite book for her to read, she read & annotated my favorite book & I got to see her thoughts & do the same with her favorite book. It's so much fun
9:14 NOOOO i wanted to hear steph's opinions on the summer i turned pretty sure but its muted :( anyways steph share ur opinions pls!!! would love to hear i loved it so so much such an amazing adaptation, just as good as the books maybe even better. the changes were so so good and the cast were AMAZING. i need s2 rn but also dont because the last ep made me sob my eyes out. i finished it in one day and am regretting that cos i wanna watch it again UGH but also the soundtrack was incredible (i wanted august but u win some u lose some)
omg i just started reading this book today, i rly like it because it shows that love is not that perfect in real life, and that also u cannot take a person for granted or anything rly. love ur videos and ur personality omg such an inspiration!!! :) ly❤️
im still waiting for your 'ranking all harry styles song' 🤍 ALSO, THIS BOOK ANNOTATION VLOG MUST CONTINUE. love you steph!! you're one of my favorite here on youtube
i’ve read normal people a while ago and just came across this video while binge watching your channel :) i honestly didn’t remember one thing about the book when you started talking abt it and i wondered if i had read it at all in the first place but then i went through my book and saw how i had underlined some quotes.. for me the book wasn’t bad but nothing special that i would have definitely remembered after watching your videos though and seeing some of your annotations i think that maybe it is only so because i had a different view on the book back then, so i am definitely trying to give it a second chance and i’ll reread it!! that’s why i think annotated books from others are so precious because sometimes my mind is so closed off to certain thoughts that I just completely ignore them and annotations kinda force you to step out of that comfort zone
I need somebody to do that for me you're literally the most genuine and kind person on this app and such a good friend so thanks for bringing us all along and letting us be your friends ❤️
i literally started tearing up as you read the last few pages it hurts so good normal people is my favourite book too and it makes me sad how polarising it is and that so many people don’t like it
i just finished reading normal people, and i sobbed for like ten minutes and i’m still not completely sure why. i feel like that describes the book well
this is so sweet...i dont wanna info dump but my bsf is mad at me rn and im really miserable. and her birthday's in november and i'm planning to annotate alice oseman's 'i was born for this' for her...bc alice is one of our fav authors. also bc she's the angel in my life (if yk yk) and i want her to know that 🌈 iwbft seriously has so many quotes and lines that i absolutely love and i recommend anyone and everyone to read this masterpiece
When I saw that you were doing this on Instagram I was hoping you would show us your annotations. And then you post a video precisely on that?? Thank you SO much! You actually inspired me to do the same, and I’m currently annotating Daisy Jones and The Six for a friend, as we didn’t read it yet. I annotated once one of her books with a pencil, but for this one I’m highlighting, commenting, underlining and putting tabs. It’s my first time reading a book by Taylor Jenkins Reid and I already know she’s going to be my favorite author. Your “TALK TO EACH OTHER” comment is what I was thinking most of the time while reading this book lmao. I remembered that in your playlist there were illicit affairs by Taylor Swift, Little Freak and Matilda by Harry Styles (Little Freak is my favorite song of all time right now and I have this theory that we can hear a sort of heartbeat through the song and that it represents the heart of his house, as it is the 6th song on the album and there are 13 songs it’s kinda in the middle, but I may be wrong, I didn’t do any research on it) anyway, I just thought that you’re one of the best to create playlists for books. I watched The Summer I Turned Pretty and I loved it too, I didn’t read the books yet but it made me want to do it (btw I’m team Conrad)
Yeah we're doing that too.....I've been going around for years telling her how great that one book that came out in 2019 is (I'm pretty sure I'm one of the first people to read it.....I read it before it got all hyped up😭😭) so she finally bought it and I had the ebook but I bought a paperback at the same time as her. We live in different cities now so next month when I see her, I'd have read and annotated my book and she would have done it with here's and then we'll exchange the books. It's just so amazing 💫💫💫💫
I actually never crack the pages down, I actively try to keep my books looking prestine and just hold it carefully to not open it fully while reading :D
Omgg!! I borrowed Before The Coffee Gets Cold from my bestfriend from another town. And she said i could annotate it and give it back to her. And i was so happy. I wrote her little notes in it too. You make annotating feel so normal and engaging.
my friend said she'd give me one for my birthday and i told her not to i hope she'll listen cuz i dont want her to put so much effort. either way it rlly warmed my heart knowing i have such an amazing friend and i am glad that your friend has u steph !
u don’t have to do every page u can do like every 10-15 pages and it still works almost the same!!!! that’s the best for just reading but i also do every individual page for when i need to annotate and completely flatten the book :)
So late to this video but this book has been on my tbr ever since watching one of your videos awhile back that mentioned it and I think this video is my sign to read it
