So lets talk about that case presssure mod. I thought when I fooled with driving the pin down before it raised case pressure under normal operating conditions but when the KSB was active I didn't think it changed. I was thinking under load I was getting like 225psi ksb on regardless of adjustment on the regulating bolt. Are you messing with the relief in the KSB housing?
@@GavinHuke Now I will have to play with it on the test stand. I am wonderieng if I don't see a case pressure change is because I run so much fuel inlet pressure. I definitely need to revisit this.
@bcbloc02 don't get to wrapped up in that test stand 😬 I've had my inlet down to 5psi and up to 30psi and the case was the same everywhere in between and made withing 4-5hp everywhere in between
It just depends. I used those cheap headstuds put them in one at a time my truck had 470000 miles on it when I put them in tq to 135ftlbs. It handle 70lbs of boost for 2 years.

Do you think 300 ~ 350 hp is achievable on the stock ve pump with a boost/fuel pin, governor spring and some other adjustments? Im thinking a HE351CW turbo and a set of injectors, but im not sure what size yet. Will the stock lift pump support that power or will i need a fass pump or something like that?
300-350 is doable on a stock maxed pump intercooler and non intercooled pump yes. Ic will go to around 420ish and non ic maybe 450 on a good day. I did 347hp with a stock maxed pump, hx35, and 5x12s but I did have an airdog lift pump
@GavinHuke awesome, thanks for the reply man ☺️ yeah i think 350 will be plenty for my needs. I just want decent towing power but still want to retain as best fuel economy as i can. Do you think going with compounds at that power level would be a waste of time or could it be good?
@GavinHuke yeah, im sure i could easily make 350hp on a single turbo like the HE351CW. But im wondering if i did go with compounds, would it be any benefit to me? I have a schwitzer S3BS turbo sitting on the shelf that i think would be perfect for the larger turbo in a compound setup. Do you think i could make that power easier on compounds with maybe lower boost and drive pressures? Lower egt's? Or is it useless? Im tempted to try it out just for fun. Ive got all the parts. It would just be my time lol
@mikejensen-fogt4662 I think all you'd be doing is adding higher boost pressures, increasing intake air Temps and it may have slightly more egt control vs a bone stock 351 but not much. I don't think itll spool any faster either. I tried finding specs for that s3bs but I'm not coming up with much
