@Extant Fellow i much prefer the 327th star corps, galactic marines, the coruscant guard, idk the 501st just kinda feels bland to me

@Extant Fellow i used to watch the clone wars as a kid, no idea what point in the show i stopped, so i never saw the later seasons. i don’t think seeing more of the 501st would really change my opinion on them though, they’re just not really to my taste

i wish they just did canon clone legions instead of constantly releasing non canon shit from bf2 or made up legions that Hasbro invented in 2005 (187th, geonosis, "kashyyyk clones") yet we dont have updated 327th troopers and a bunch of legions are super rare because they made them come with sets and not battle packs. These types of clones in this set work better in normal sets than battle packs

@@shockd1220 I thought BF2 was canon. But I do love the non-canon stuff, like the purple legion clones. It brought back to a more simple time before the Disney buy out when we got things like the Tie Crawler. But that's the difficult thing about clones, there are so many legions and everyone wants this legion or that legion, and that's great! But the only way this would be possible is if we got like, 5 battle packs a year dedicated to clones. So it feels like a mess, it feels like no matter what decision Lego makes, it's always going to be the wrong decision. But I feel building up off of the 501st legion is perhaps the best move Lego could make. 501st was insanely popular, release a battlepack that sorta expands the 501st even more! I would mind if they did this format in the future. Next year we get the standard 212th legion pack and then once that retires a 212th specialist pack

@@Garinovitch if the officer wasnt so hideous and the heavy troopers had heavy weapons in the next bp of this type it would be fine to be honest

@@shockd1220 I actually like the Officer! But an actual heavy weapon would be nice. My honest only complaint about the 501st specialist pack would be the macrobinoculars, all it needed was that thin black line and it'd perfect, I can forgive the lack of the blue line as it lets us use the macrobinoculars on other clones, but all it needed was that think black line to give it that finishing details, it feels so incomplete, like it's a prototype piece without that black line
