Another 7 Details Most People Missed in The Witcher 3 

When I was recording this video it was still a rumour but it has now been confirmed! The Next Gen edition is coming out December 14th, exactly 1 month from now.

3:00 Vesemir asking whether the peasants would go to the field basically shows that witchers don't have a very good idea about agriculture (they live off killing monsters, not harvesting rye), hence he was asking a thing that seemed obvious for that farmer (that's how I always understood this conversation). Or he just wanted to be extra sure a bystander/farm owner wouldn't be there during a fight. There's nothing more to it.

The level of details; A dead body in a ditch, as a result from a optional line from a none-essential npc... That was new to me, after over 800h in this game.

I live in Ireland and have visited the Skellig islands, they actually hold the biggest population of Gannets (look similar to seagulls) in the world. A quarter of their entire species on one rock, lots of puffins too. Thank you Letalis for all your amazing work, that detail about Ard Skellig is particularly mindblowing to me. Now Skellige will remind me of road trips with my dad as well as home. Can't wait for complete edition next month!

I know this is probably random but this is one of the main reason why I absolutely love your vids, 5:09 this little humor always gets me.

I don't know if this is discovered by you yet, but there is a very small and missable point of interest in Toussaint. If you go to the left of Basane Farm, just under the Lake of Cleansing, you will see a cave with a Monster Den mark. Inside is a Fleder hanging on top of the cave ( on my second time returning here, I also noticed that apart from the Fleder, there is also a Garkain, quite curiously) and a corpse of a speleologist with his Note. The note says that he has been introduced to a nice cave for studying by a man called Luq Veuneque, who is stated to have an aversion to garlic and silver cutlery in his diary. As this Luq guy is not seen anywhere near that cave, I was thinking what if that Fleder ( or Garkain ) can actually turn into a human form? If not, then maybe he is a hidden Higher Vampire, as there is also an Unseen Elder/Vampire shrine inside that particular cave. You should definitely check it out if you haven't

I actually found the Horse Yen knocked over in the 2nd detail within an hour of my first playthrough, however, I never knew it had a deeper meaning, always thought it was random

I know this is probably a very out-of-topic detail I found and maybe it's already covered in one video but... In the house where the tapestry with the crones is, you can find a book in which someone writes about his encounter with Regis. In this its mentioned that Katakans are lesser vampires but as you said in other videos, sometimes they are referred to as higher vampires. The next example for the higher vampire inconsistency!

I only missed the body in the ditch in White Orchard and the graveyard near Kaer Morhen. I will definitely go visit these places in the next play through.

The towel, the funniest armour that makes Geralt look he's just left Djikstra's sauna or can't even afford proper pants.

I found something during the great escape quest. When you get the key from the warden and return to the cells where rita is, you can open the other cells releasing the other people and they comment thanking you, a letter is in one cell, but if you release rita first it will not let you open them. Strange thing is all 3 people stop in the sewer where you come in and stay there.....also there is a cave under kaer morhen, the trail you go on with lambert, as soon as you go through the wall breach and drop a ledge its by the water fall.

Not sure if you know this already but when the garrison leader in white orchard order his men to whip the farmer, If you stand and wait you can actually count the amount of "lashes" which is 15 I believe

Ardh Skellige is heavily inspired by Celtic/Viking culture. Sometimes I feel they are like Vikings in AC valhlalla sometimes from their accent, helmit and shield I feel they are Welsh,irish and Britons

When exploring The Kaer Mohren region, i stumbled upon some bears with a white life bar (meaning you must use a silver sword), hinting that they might be berzerkers. Iirc, it was not far from the castle ruins full of ghosts. Dunno if it was mentionned in another video, or if anyone has a theory about these.

about that theory of vesmir i think he was asking who owns that land so that he can tell them that the soil is diseased and the grain is bad. that will tie the other scene with nilfgaard

That “graveyard” although I agree it very well might be could be the place Vesemir takes Uma to attempt to break the curse, he says “ I’ll take Uma into the mountains I’ll lay him on a gravestone. Come midnight I’ll give him tea made of hemlock harvested from…” he cuts his method short stating he doesn’t need to explain himself to Yennefer and I don’t personally recall any other graveyard like areas around Kaer Morhen so it could be the very place.

Just wanna say, can't believe there are still more of these even when the next-gen update is about to drop. Great work!

9:45 Geralt will also said sh*t happens if you lose the horse race that Cleaver bet on Geralt. After beating all of the racers held at Vegelbug Mansion, Cleaver will invite Geralt for another race event. Can’t wait for Next Gen update! Looking forward for xLetalis to upload more witcher contents!

Another great video as usual ♥ Glad to see the series return. Was wondering if anyone has any more information about the OST at 6:46 ? I don't know why but It sound so familiar. At first I thought it was Priscilla's song but that doesn't seem to be correct. Then I remembered the opening notes to the Yennifer reunion at white orchard that I don't think is audible in the game. (The in game music jumps straight to the violin orchestra but some OST's uploaded to RU-vid also have a few slow notes from a guitar solo that lasts around 10 seconds before the actual music begins) but again that doesn't sound quite right either. So if anyone has the actual answer that would be much appreciated :D

as always Letalis, another excellent video! :D i've done that Puffins quest both ways myself also. i was lucky enough to 'accidentally' meet up with those ruffians and dispatch them (without a bribe) the first playthrough. the second time i did it the 'normal way' and met the Puffins before thwarting the thugs with steel. i remember Mererid's comment on the belted outfit... but i wasn't certain it was a disapproving comment or just a statement about the cut and lines of the tunic being changed by the belt. i had read every page of the game guide's helping points for the School of the Wolf Witcher Gear blueprints so while i was doing that... i dug around hard everywhere inside and around Kaer Morhen. i found the cave where the old Trials of the Grasses were held. yes, i agree... truly disturbing and yet still an amazing treasure trove of lore. as to the grave markers? hmm... wouldn't the Wolf School surviving Witchers mark the stones with a carving of the Wolf's Head? i remember reading somewhere in either the game or the books that the boys trained for almost 2 YEARS before the first mutagen treatments were applied. in the books, Yenn visits Kaer Morhen and meets Ciri for the first time and some statements Vesemir and the other Witchers make gets Yenn suspicious about Ciri's diet, exercise regimen, female hygiene (menstruation) etc. certain mushrooms, herbs, plants, and simple Witcher potions were given to Ciri to increase her muscle growth, stamina, alertness, and deal with the multiple injuries and sore muscles from the rigorous pre-Mutation Training. basically, Geralt and Vesemir didn't know what to do with Ciri. so they were treating her like a 'raw recruit' and slowly turning her into a Witcher. Yenn was VERY pissed and Vesemir had to 'slap her down' so she didn't run off with the girl to 'protect her from a hedge doctor and his ignorant brews' ... this is one of the few times in the books where we can actually hear about Vesemir's knowledge of herbology and what the younglings went through before the Trials of the Grasses started.

That bath towel is special to me. I wear it on special occasions.... Yennefer thought it inappropriate for a Wake but pffft.

This lion king scene still makes me tear up to this day.. And Skellige draws inspiration from Norway as well(I’m Norwegian), Larvik and Lofoten are real places in Norway, and it’s clearly inspired by the Vikings from Norway/Ireland as well😊

Everytime i see another "things you missed" video, I think your a low level clickbait channel, cause there is no way you can come up with ANOTHER set of new things from one game. And every single time, you are so nice, so entertaining, so fun to listen to, and you have the craziest interesting details of any "you missed this" videos ever.

I completely agree that Vesemir was trying to avoid casualties at the beginning. I've visited the grasses cave every game but never noticed the sign in front or the little graveyard...thank you again.

This game is amazing. All these years later... all of these episodes... and still there are things I've never seen. I'm currently playing thru the game again (just finished the main game and starting Hearts of Stone) and these videos have been very nice for catching some out-of-the-way scenes and dialog that I haven't witnessed first hand before. Bravo sir, keep up the great work.

BTW this might or might not be common knowledge but regarding the battlefield graveyard, a lot of players actually find that chest by the beach guarded by drowners, just next to the abandoned village without any difficulties. If you scour the battlefield graveyard, you will find the note mentioning that treasure chest. It seems a Temerian soldier informed a cousin or family member that he buried his valuables there. Also, that sheep decoy still stands in that field until this day :)

I did not know about many of these, but I knew about the one of the fortress. Pretty dark and creepy in my opinion. AND THE ONE WITH THE MAP!! WHAT A SUBTLE WAY TO HIDE IT!! Also, Steam says that the new update will arrive to all platforms except Switch on Decebmer 14th. Anyway, great video, as awlays :)

Since you mentioned kaer mohen, I will add a nice little glitch(?) That has affected my latest play through.... It started when i tried to complete the runesmith questline and unlock everything while underlvled.. so naturally trying to find ore inside that spider infested cave took longer than usual and i had to stay in it for a long while trying to kill all the spiders including the queen. I don't know if something malfunctioned or my device lagged but I started hearing all the spider roars overlapping and occuring at the same time even though i had cleared the cave... Really eary to be honest.... Anyways since then, whenever i go to the area around the kaer mohen lake(like the cave of the old collossus, the place of power and surrounding areas, these spider roars start being played and i keep getting attacked by dozens of nekkers and alpha nekkers, foglets, wolves, etc who keep running towards me from out of bounds. Quite cool and creepy to be honest. Will try and record it next time to show everyone

The island looking like a bird is one of the coolest easter eggs I've seen yet. Usually I hate those since it's very up to interpretation if the map looks like this other thing since it only has medium resemblance and it doesn't mean it has to be that, we can see different shapes in clouds and they weren't made to look like that. But that with a bird is too perfect for it not to be true, it looks near perfect and the bird itself fits the setting. Really cool idea from CDPR

There's a place near the large nilfgaardian camp in the bottom right that has the horse, swallow and 3 other symbols, with a rock in the centre, and guarded by an earth elemental. I literally discovered it for the very first time today on the next gen edition. Thought it was pretty interesting.

At this point, the creators themselves are watching your videos and seeing stuff they somehow put in the game without knowing

I imagine with the grain fields situation, Vesemir was trying to say the farmer should look out for his grain because it was going bad, possibly due to too much rain. Or the grain was ready for harvest and started rotting. Would explain why the grain he gives to the Nilfgardians is bad

OK, somehow I never made the connection between that dude in the ditch and Yennefer. Nice one xL. So, speaking of Yennefer. The Witcher 3's English voice actress for Yennefer "Denise Gough" who also plays "Dedra Meero" in "Andor", would have been absolute perfection if she had reprised her role in the Netflix #"Adaptation". BTW If you haven't watched it yet then I can not recommend it highly enough. Seriously! It's that good. Having watched the first ten episodes of "Andor" I can't help but wonder what having a similar level of production with the same exquisite writing and complex character development would have been like to see in The Witcher Netflix adaptation. I can just imagine it. Henry Cavills' complex and authentically master crafted vision of "Geralt" with Denise Gough's exquisite performance as "Yennefer" playing opposite him following the compelling storylines with creatively adapted writing for scenes worthy of the prose from the books. If you can picture what that may have looked like then you'll understand why many Witcher fans, Henry included, were not happy with how "it" and Geralt were being treated. I imagine Henry Cavill also envisioned something much closer to what I and many others did as well. Which is why he could not tolerate it any longer and left. It's just such a pity that Netflix failed so dismally with the The Witcher IP. What a shame.

Yes definitiely coming out on December 14th.....Steam have announced it in the store with some of the details, mainly that you need to have at least a copy of the game to get it for free. I think they timed it for Christmas so if there's anyone who hasn't played it yet will get it. We also have some other stuff to look forward to like weapons and armour and alternative looks.This game never ceases to amaze me....I've played other games but this level of detail..well it doesn't exist in any other game.
