I've made an update for the first mechanic for a braindead strat: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zXfYpLjXr34.html Shoutout to @Shinnouryu for pointing me towards this strat

Hello, I dont understand what the clockwise priority system means. Every guide mentions this and simply refers to P8S but I don't know that fight either so I don't get the reference. I don't know how to tell what ads we should each be picking.

So there are 4 adds; North (A), East (B), South (C), and West (D). Two of these are bubbled, the other two are bind. Two of the players are bubbled, the other two are bind. Players need to proximity bait an add that is the opposite of them, for example a bind player needs to bait a bubble add. For this bind player there are going to be 2 adds that meet this criteria, so we need some way of assigning which of these two adds to take so that both bind players don't end up baiting the same bubble add. To this end, the Tank always looks at the North add (A) first and checks if it is opposite their debuff. If not they then check East (B). If neither North nor East, then their add is on South (C). So they start by looking North and work their way clockwise until they find a suitable add. The Ranged DPS always looks at the West add (D) first and checks if it is opposite their debuff. If not they then check South (C), and if neither West nor South is valid, then their add is on East (B). Put another way, they start by looking West and work their way anti-clockwise until they find a suitable add. We also need a way to decide the Healer's position, but there is a small problem. If we have them look North and check CW, then we run into a problem if the Tank and the Healer need to bait the same type of add, since they will double up. Likewise for having them look West and check CCW if the Ranged DPS has the same debuff. So there needs to be some sort of tiebreaker. To solve this, we have the Healer check the Tank to see if they share the same debuff (e.g. both have Bind). If they do, then the healer checks West (D) CCW. If they have different debuffs (1 Bind, 1 Bubble), then the Healer checks North (A) CW. This is solved similarly for the Melee DPS, they check the Ranged DPS. If they have the same debuff, then the Melees checks adds North (A) CW. If they have different debuffs, then the Melee checks West (D) CCW

I think you can make the first make even easier. Every player starts on Limit cut II, 1 bubble and 1 root north and south. Bubbled players always needs to diagonally relative to mirrors. For example this is the 4 tiles in NE, NW, SE or SW where it's a limit cut 2: 1 2 3 4 If the mirror in the bubble is on 3 then the bubbled player will always move to 2 and vice versa. To 1 if the mirror is on 4, 3 if the mirror is on 2... Then the rooted player place themselves the same way as bubble. If it's share, the "root" player just move 2 tiles ahead as if they were pushed. If it's spread (I still need to confirm it), they apply the same logic as bubble and check if the middle mirror is in 2 or 1. If it's on 1 they need to move back 1 tile, if it's on 2 they don't need to move. In short: Bubbles + Share: Be on LC II Square North/South diagonal to the mirror, root moves ahead by 2 tiles. Bubbles + Spread: Be on LC II Square North/South diagonal to the mirror, root moves back if middle mirror is on a LC1 tile.

So I've been checking some footage and I think you are on to something with the Bubbles. The Binds+Spread thing, when you say in a 1 or a 2 you mean the LC number? Because I think you are also right for that. I'm still working on checking all patterns, but it is consistent thus far.

So a quick update. You theory was correct, however there's another way of telling. Middle crystals that are vertical are always in an LC 2 tile, horizontal ones are always in an LC 1 tile. So you can know if you need to take a step back as a bind before the LC numbers even spawn.

I personally think true north without enforcig partners is another valid option. North pair always starts on the norh tiles and south pair on the south tiles, following same rules that bubble starts on 2 and bind on 1 if pairs 2 if spreafs. Because of how the logic works it would work no problem (even if in certain patterns you end with a different partner) while allowing casters to prepositions.

There are probably a billion different reasonable ways you could do the first mech, but after trying out the new braindead strat that I have in the pinned comment it all feels kinda moot. I'm 100% sold on the new strat. We took someone who had never seen any of the criterion before into the fight and within 2 pulls we were consistently doing it perfectly. It's honestly kinda stupid how easy it makes it, and you can even preposition before the numbers come out if you know how to read where the numbers are gonna be based on the middle crystal.
