It's a Bears problem. You need a running game to compliment a rookie quarterback. The Bears don't have a running game unless the quarterback runs. This has been proven going back to 2016. I went back from the 2024 season to the 2016 season. Bears running backs in that time 2016-2024 weren't even a top 20 unit. Here's the proof. These are the real Running Back stats. Bears 2023 RB Only yardage = 1,493 yards. Bears 2022 RB Only yardage = 1,650 yards. Bears 2021 RB Only yardage = 1,446 yards. Bears 2020 RB Only yardage = 1,410 yards. Bears 2019 RB Only yardage = 1,230 yards. Bears 2018 RB Only yardage = 1,415 yards. Bears 2017 RB Only yardage = 1,521 yards. Bears 2016 RB Only yardage = 1,645 yards.

Coaches need to go. That simple this is a coaching issue. GM should probably go too between Claypool, Swift signing, ignoring the OLine deficiencies etc etc . Caleb seems supremely confident so I think it could probably wait until after the season but sooner the better for the fan bases sake and for Caleb’s development. Don’t want him fleeing clean pockets in the future.

I'm for my offensive line actually blocking regardless of the play calls. They let 3 defensive lineman beat 4 of the lineman. From the nose all the way down the left side beat them straight up.

bears came close last yr with 7-9 according to some media and fans. the expectation this yr is playoff with a generation talent qb and upgrade over JF and OC. expectation is too high for a rookie qb. hc is on hot seat and poles could be hot seat if it just a revolving door with hc and oc.

what adam is not remembering is that Justin Fields was the reason the BEARS were a rushing powerhouse. His first full year he went for 1k. Mont had 800. Last year, Justin was at nearly 700 and Herbert was just over 600. Point is, the Bears rushing attack was centered on Justin and his scrambles more than the backs. Now, you are trying to throw the ball to jsstify Caleb and your offseason instead of playing compliementary football and ease him in. He will be ok. But you dont have an identity. DJ moore acknowldedged that during a recent interview with a radio station. How? you have a dominant defense and shoud have a running ngame too. did b4 why not now?

funny how ppl are all about the coaching...how many times in the colts game did they see 8 or more in the box? how is the run game supposed to be successful against 8 or 9 man fronts...until caleb can consistently take advantage of the heavy box, teams are not going to back off on the LOS

Stats dont mean much..on 3rd down they do. And in the redzone..tds also matter. Turnovers also means something. Fantasy football stats dont matter.

We have to stop with the speed option hate. Caleb straight up said he saw pre-snap that play wasn't going to work because Indy didn't line up in the defense they were expecting, he had the power to change the play, he knew the play needed to be changed, and he chose to snap the ball anyway

Bears fans are a bunch of whiners. The O-line is not good. Caleb is going to be amazing and it’s way too early to make a decision on the OC. Just be patient.

Let’s slow down a bit on Caleb Williams' potential as an elite QB. While there are some concerns with the in-game decisions from our head coach and offensive coordinator, I see Caleb Williams and the team as a long-term project. Right now, we're still in the early stages-getting to know each other, meeting friends and family. It’s going to take time before we know if this will turn into something serious, like a long-term commitment or even a Super Bowl ring. We all need to stay patient and let the story unfold. We need to trust Poles and give Eberflus this year to prove himself. If he can't, then the next head coach will get to build his own staff.

Ya'll missing the whole point. How did a team that was on the incline last year suddenly go on the decline this year?.. With better offensive talent. And basically the same o line?. How? The qb is the answer. Fields was the answer for the Bears. But we traded him away like clowns. Instead of keeping him and using that number 1 pick to get more picks so that the o line could have been shored up? How about that for an idea? Bears?!! Damn is wasn't hard. Now Caleb might be a good qb in the future. But Justin was the future. And we blew it. Good job Bears. Can't wait to hear how shady and no sense joy respond to Justin's play. They might still try to gloss over it. Cuz they are Justin haters.
