@@JFrenchman Pay attention to the lyrics. The song is about rebellion against an errent government & errent people who seek to control you through indoctrination into their ideologies. Roger Waters wrote the song as an analogy of his experiences in school, where the teachers only taught kids what to think... NOT how to think... & only sought to control kids instead of educate them. The song was his way of illustrating of how formal education was NOT education, but a means of control... which should be rebelled against with critical thinking & exposure to alternate points of view... hence why in the 3rd act you hear the chant, "Tear down the wall"... which symbolize the emotional & intellectual barrier a person puts up around themselves, when they are forced to think & act in the way they are indoctrinated to. Waters argued that true education is teaching kids how to think, analize, & form their own conclusions... NOT being forced feed indoctrinated ideologies, & being censored from alternate veiws, like what most universities & public schools are doing today. Looks like you really don't understand the meaning of the song.
