I ordered these. I’ve been using that SteelForce American Musclehead for a few years, and I loved them. They changed the design to something that I don’t like, so I’ve been looking for a new broadhead to replace them. These seem like a combination of Annihilator and Exodus. Chisel point, thick 3 blades, 1 1/8th cutting diameter, no cutouts, over arrow design, good metal, able to resharpen easily...Although I don’t like buying Chinese products, I can’t find a fault in the design of these. I love the objectivity of these videos. Thanks for doing what you do.
QAD Exodus is my favorite broadhead to date, but these look interesting. Might try a couple for craps and giggles. Good review. This one changed my mind on the steel shooting. I used to think it was excessive and ridiculous, but it was amazing to see how well this one held up. Thanks.
Hey guys I brought these broad heads they fly great, they are rugged and I’m very impressed. Having a super hard time sharpening I thought you would just be able to lay them down flat on a stone which I tried counting the strokes on each side and didn’t work, fried sandpaper 220-1000 grit that also didn’t work.
@@Yelladog78 the problem was after starting at a course grit working up to a finer grit and paper and then even finishing it off with a piece of construction paper, all even strokes every blade, I couldn’t barely get it to cut paper with a breeze without it tearing rather them cutting. I did finially get it but I would so exhausting on how many strokes you have to do on each set of different grit sand paper.
@@Yelladog78 I did kill a deer with one last year but wasn’t as confident as I would like to of been when I was at full draw with what the out come was going to be. I did harvest it and it was a decent blood trail but if I were to do it again, this yea I will be spending the money on a good well priced and built broad head like I’ve done in the past.
Yeah, I just asked them about that. They’re going to send me some, but they have a limited supply till August. The ones they have online are a trial to test the market.
This head you can just lie flat on a stone and stroke two edges at the same time. Super easy! I could do that, but if the heads don't get bent up or break, then they have all spun true....so I considered it moot. But maybe I'll add that in just because I get comments every once in a while like this.
Be a great head for hogs especially. Would be easy to sharpen as it's stainless steel and not really very hard metal. Just enough to maintain its shape. And if you missed and lost the arrow at least it won't be a $12-15 broad head. Only a $4.50 head and a $15-18 arrow. These arrows are getting totally damn ridiculous in cost.
You can check them out on Bishop Archery website. I also have a vid of them in detail on my Cape Buffalo Arrow Build vid. They are the best...and one of the most expensive arrows made. They use the same carbon that's used by Kuiu to make their high end tent poles. No other shaft to my knowledge, uses that grade of carbon.
Did you happen to put the arrows on a spin tester? Maybe add that to your testing? Ive found several off brand (and even name brand) heads wont spin true, and the spin test quickly weeds out the bad ones.
Thank you. I did spin test them...and they did very well. They flew super well at 70 yds. I have added a spin test for 2020--after the steel plate. I've almost never had a head not spin well out of the package.
Haha. The vid is deceiving in that. That's why I make the notation that this is on an official archery range. The highway is actually hundreds of yards away.

Ya know, after I posted the vid I thought I should have tested that. I am not sure. Of course you can use any flat stone to sharpen each individual edge, but I'm not sure you can lay them flat and sharpen 2 edges at a time.
They look like u can sharpen them like a G5 Montec or a Bishop Holy Trinity. Make sure to use more than 1 good quality stone like the course & fine ones that DMT makes. It's a small investment considering the price break u r getting on the Deepower b.h.

That's a great question. And it depends on what I'm hunting. For Cape Buffalo, like earlier in the year its the Bishop Scientific Method. For deer this year it's been the Sevr 1.5. But there are A LOT I really like: Iron Will, Kayuga Gen 2 Pilot Cut, Afflictor, Tooth of the Arrow, Exodus...and others as well. Shot placement is the most important issue.
I have not. But the blood trail is going to be what a one piece 3 blade fixed head with good edge retention gives you--like a number of other similarly designed heads. Blood trail is much more a function of shot placement than anything else. After that, it's total cut size & penetration...then sharpness & edge retention. Hearing what a few others have experienced will be a function of their shot placement more than anything. Even with the exact same shot placement on different animals, you can get different results, based on their specific, individual anatomy, their movement after the shot, and whether their lungs were inflated when they were hit (if in the lungs) or deflated as well as the weight of the arrow and the specs of the bow.

I use these on a regular basis now. I havent had a chance to kill a deer with it but I've killed a ton of hogs and have taken people out to kill hogs with them as well. To date we have taken a 300lb boar, 270lb boar, 180lb boar, and a 200lb sow. None of the pigs ran further then 30 yards. Now shot placement is definitely important but these broadheads ability to retain its sharpness while going through these big boars is what sets it apart from most broadheads. I've even had one of these go through a pig and stick 8 inches into the ground on the other side. It still had a sharp edge. Blood trails were little drips at first but after 10 yards it got better and better. I only buy these and 1 other 2 blade off of Amazon thats built pretty much the same way. Only ones ill ever be using from now on.

WOW !!! Iwill be ordering some of them i use a true blood mechanical and that will fit very nice in my setup at 100 gr plus my 125gr for a 225gr up front on my grizzly foc arrows for a total of 591gr very nice.Nice to watch something other than political garbage thanks for getting this out there!!!

Yeah, I have a backlog--especially cause hunting season has begun here in Iowa. I have 3 more vid tests all done and ready to post...then have about 4 more heads to test that people have sent me. What did you send?
Thanks for watching. Why you think I'm promoting them? I'm just trying to do tests on gear that is available for people to purchase. I certainly don't want to promote the Chinese economy at the expense of the US economy. But some people's budgets necessitate that they find some less expensive options, and they wonder if stuff like this is any good. And like I said in the vid, the VAST majority of heads sold as Made in the US have parts or are assembled completely in China anyway. Should I not test any of those either?
