It's absolutely an insane run and Aggy has put in a ton of impressive work getting better and better at this game very quickly. That said I believe this is the first run with new tech not in the previous WR. Still insane but I think that accounts for a big part of the time save.
as I was playing this game, I was thinking every so often, "speedruns for this game are going to be very entertaining". And I was right, but I also severely underestimated how fast they end up being, and continue to improve. Great work.
no assist mode features are allowed. gun% is a seperate category though. most of the damage comes from the red cup shell spell (increases damage but gives crappy dodge framedata for the duration) and the retaliation skill (damage boost for the next hit after blocking an attack) which is why you see him miss parries on purpose. firth is also susceptible to double hits from charge attacks at certain distances/angles, though i don't really know why this is the case. there isn't a super fleshed out wiki for the game yet, but i'd imagine most of the damage numbers and percentage buffs can be found in the speedrun discord if you're curious.
@@itsikpix5825 WRT double hits: Whatever attack you defeated phase 1 of Praya Dubia with will land double hits (for whatever reason) until you die, so runners intentionally finish it off with a charge attack.
thank you for detailed answer i through red cap increase attack speed and he had decent amount of damage so i know he being doing a decent amount, i just didnt know the parry skill increased it by that much.
