Some people in the comments deluding themselves that shiftup paid prydwen while ignoring the fact that "Evangelion" is a "popular" ip of course there will be bias to tier list making. The fact is that they should ignore prydwen because a lot of "CC" hype up "Asuka's damage". Honestly prydwen is too late to the party when they posted asuka tier list.
10:44 he never said anything against Prydwen, the video of the stream and the rant is in his channel, you can watch it, he was talking to people in general, general testers, with general builds without 2-3 lines of elemental damage and comparing Asuka with Real SSS DPS units.
that's the thing what I hate about those other CC review of Asuka, saying Asuka can out damage the likes of Red Hood or SBS in a non fire weak boss is straight up sus. we know some of this CC is getting sponsored by SU. so they have to hyped this limited units to increase the sales. lol
He cultivated an audience keen on attacking Prydwen. As a regular viewers of his, I've seen him regularly take jabs at them. He attacked people who rated it as SSS in general, shortly after Prydwen released that rating. I can't remember all of it, but one of the things said is "I feel like people who rated SSS only now started testing Ele damage". He threw around the word stupid a few times. Seeing as Prydwen is one of the reviewers rating it as SSS... His entire chat at the time knew it was about Prydwen's rating, the comments under the video knew it was about it. Sure, he didn't directly say it. But it's heavily implied, and partly a result of him cultivating this audience. In saying that, I still value Sky's takes more. But see the value in tierlist and difficulty associated with it. Sky doesn't even tier/rate characters in his review, why does he even need to comment about tiering. It seems to create a lot of undue stress on him over the past week
Yes dumb people are taking Sky´s words out of context, just to justify their arguments, he was clearly talking about the people doing test in unfair situations were Asuka would look like Tier SSS, but when she was tested for over 20 hours by him on his F2P account and Whale Account against a Real Tier SSS the outcome was way different, also there are a lot of stupid CCs who also overhype the unit as OP and Tier SSS and a Staple in our accounts, when their tests were on the level of a chimpanzee. Sky has a good relationship with people of Prydwen and they even troll each other since they have a good and chill relationship. Stupido people are just taking sentences here and there taking them out of Context just to make Sky look bad.
I need to reach that level of enlightenment. I tried pulling, didn’t get her and I managed to build myself back to 200 golden for the Anniversary so I guess win/lose situation. now i’m just gonna horde my gems.
@@Anderrya Alice takes way too much investment until she's top tier. Asuka is great even at moderate investment. Given how bottlenecked most players are on skill books unless they're whales like me, it might be WEEKS before your average player can get Alice into a usable state if they've been building other characters. OR they might not have the resources to spare if they're saving them for 2nd Anniversary and Cinderella.
@@AnderryaI've got both close to the same level of investment and Alice does way less damage lol. Having to put way more investment into Alice to make her better then a lower invested Asuka makes her worse lol.
Asuka is sss is to me as much as asuka is sss to me in honkai third ahhahahaha😅 I dont even know why prydwen has to pad the damage right now. Its evangelion people will spend even if the character was crap.
2:18 it's actually ok to test on the strong element as long as you don't mislabel the agenda. Testing Asuka vs Alice on fire weak boss is good to figure out who the best fire Nikke is. But if the goal is which Nikke is better in general content, then it should be on neutral bosses. Testing Asuka vs RH on fire weak and say Asuka is stronger is just straight up wrong.
Im stuck at lvl 160 wall and using asuka in my team helps me advance further in storymode. So i can kinda see why prydwen ranks her really high. Hopefully i can reach 22-36 so i can unlock endgame interception for rock drops 🎉
I did maxed asuka and plan to do so on Rei just because I'm lacking maxed dps and I get pretty lucky too with the pulls XD (3 rei in 10 pull man that was really nice)
Hey, I need your help xD. I started using Nikke 2 years ago, but then gave up. Now I want to take a look again and start rerolling again. Now I'm on the 3rd account and have drawn Alice on the beginner banner, 2x10s on the normal banner - just crap..milk. Then everything for Asuka and I pulled one Asuka from each of the 10s - now I have two of hers. Ehm I only have N102 as support B1. Asuka and Alice are both B3 characters, right? They outdo each other, they are fire elements. Hmm reroll again, or keep playing and move on?
From what i can tell theres not a lot of depth to fire dps, sure we have a couple of collabs (2b a2 asuka power) and then alice and modernia. Yes there are other burst3 units but who is saying drake or crow as a carry, for instance. Seems like this lack of depth in the element, and that asuka WANTS to buff that element makes her far more desirable, and fair enough. She seems to be good, but skippable, unless future content builds around her kit. To be fair we got Tove and leona as a way to buff/encourage shotgun teams so its possible but the previous big swingers for dps are still the top even after this collab.
In the grand scheme of things it’s negligible. Tier lists are always subjective. Self testing and knowing my play style has proven far more helpful than any list anyway.
I always believed in Prydwen, but this last one makes me think they are being paid by ShiftUP to increase sells in this Collab, many people strongly believe in them and if they didnt want to pull for this collab but see an SSS in their tier ranking, that will change their minds and increase their FOMO and then they will spend money to pull them at all Cost. Im starting to lose faith in Prydwen.
Most people were skeptical cause most cc were over hyping these characters with hardly any comp testing. What made it worse was that people were pulling asuka believing that she could out damaging a fully built red hood.😐

Prydwen has to be paid by ShiftUp to intentionally cause players to buy more into characters. His last few vids have being awfully intentional hype. Ill take Skys vid more seriously than any other CC. Even than ill wait for more info before making a choice to pull. Honestly for future, most players should wait couple days after release, for more accurate testing and feedback than fomo vids aka Pryds videos.
I have no interest in Evangelion and I'm tired of this franchise collab with 90% of other gacha games and got bored of the same characters over and over. So I rated her D tier.
This is a game about horizontal progression. In SR, you want many strong teams doing elemental damage. It's stupid to take neutral numbers to dictate the value of a unit. With rocks dropping like candy now and the roster getting expanded at a rapid rate with multiple banner characters per event, the gap between whales and f2p has shrunk, so you have very little excuse to not be doing top 1% damage especially as a day 1. Being a casual isn't an excuse in this case because you're literally arguing about how meta a character is. Using SBS as a measuring stick as to what is allowable to be meta is equally dumb as well, since she herself isn't even SSS tier on that tier list, while RH is. Prydwen clearly don't care about their raw strength, and it's more about their overall utility in multiple content. Heck, no one has surpassed SBS in damage for an entire year, yet everyone and their mom will still recommend people to pull for RH and whatnot. It's starting to dive down into double standards (or maybe sunk cost) at this point.
it is one of the reason I kinda dislike collab, since it is a very limited unit (no rerun maybe) so dev tend not to make them too op and if the characters are not very op, why do I need to pull for them? BECAUSE OF FOMOOOOOO, ya game dev want to get our money sadly I remembered going all in for 2B and got her mlb, but at the end she is pretty meh, ngl and I felt really bad
If you only care about meta just save for the anni or the occasional Nikke like the bunny girls. If you are just pulling for the novelty of owning a character from another franchise pull 1 copy and call it a day. You would complain if they made the collab characters op bc they will never get reruns, but you also complain if they aren't as good as Red Hood bc you pulled 4 copies of them. So you complain either way and that's the reason you dislike collabs lol.
