Great video, I agree the 97 is crazy. I went for a ride on the 97 and got one of the 3 Scanias that went over to Lea Interchange with the route. I love how there was a massive hype about the last day of Scanias yet they’re still going at Lea Interchange 😂
Some cars just don't think when they constantly beeping we do what we do for a reason it might semes like we're stupid by not moving, we have to plan ahead

At least there are reasons for the 97 to terminate early... the controllers absolutely hate the 365 for some reason and love cutting it back to 'Romford Parkside Avenue' or 'Collier Row' which means the drivers don't get any break if they are cut to Collier Row instead of driving the extra 3 stops to Havering Park
Seeing LI again gave me nightmares, nothing but memories of the N25 and none of them good. Back in the day, 97 was a 'senior' drivers route when it was at Walthamstow (WW) and then at Crapital Shittybus. All the 97 drivers then were all 20+ year seniority and commanded respect and they got it as well. Even had their own tables in the canteen. Hoe st sounds like West Green Rd, Tottenham, parking was crazy there...inching down the road used to take ages and you'd always end up arriving late at Archway because of it (route 41).
@@HACKERHITMARKER333 It wasn't so much the route, but the circumstances on which i was allocated the route, Straight from training/induction, the then operator begged and pleaded with me to help them out on the 25 night rota in return for a line on the day rota....needless to say they took the piss and kept me on nights for 18 months.
@@TEEBR_akaYiXuanTFL operates Rail Replacement buses on the Underground, DLR, Overground and the other TFL services (Most TFL Rail replacements outside of London are TFL buses but some of them are Sullivan or other companies)
