Sorry to hear that bro - I feel your pain. I have a few family members that I have distanced myself from. These days some family members can become an enemy. They can be your enemy so badly that you can end up forgetting their from your bloodline. Which is just sad! Your brother seems like he has some personal issues, therapy is a service he needs - ASAP! Until then, just keep your distance and keep up with your ting.

I'm the same way. I'm a nice guy with a kind heart, I always try to see the best in people. However, I grew up with domestic violence, a father that enjoyed bullying us and my mum. So if I come across a bully or a person trying to tell me what to do? I'll be in their face instantly. I won't tolerate it. Just the other week I was sitting in a pub minding my own business. After about an hour this guy walked up to me trying to give me grief. I stood up, at which point he realised my height and regretted it. I'm 6ft4, nicely built and can be intimidating if you get on my bad side. I ENDED UP BEING DRAGGED OUT BY 3 BOUNCERS! Three bouncers and the two owners to physically escort out ONE person!
Yeah not many people talk about domestic violence amongst family it's always when in a relationship. It's good you stood up to him. Some people need to be put in their place.

I would go ape mode. Blood doesn't always mean family. Nowadays, you choose your family. I learnt that the hard way and I fully understand how you feel.
