HOW IN THE BLUE HELL CAN ANYBODY LOSE THIS GAME LIKE THAT?!?!?!?!?! This is one of the easiest games on TPIR to win! Just guess $20, $30, and $40 and you win. It's so damn easy!
When I was younger I remember I had a nightmare about the yodeling guy falling off the cliff, and I was terrified of him and the creepy music. But now I like watching this game 🙂

exactly. This was one of the easiest games to win for exactly that reason. If you said, 20 for the first, 30 for the second and 45 for the third, as you said, you were almost guaranteed to win
But it’s also way easier to win, especially if the prize is actually desirable. General rule of thumb to the game is to guess $20 on the first smaller potential prize, $30 on the second, and $40 on the third. 95% of the time that wins the game easily.

I wish they'd play a honking sound when Yodely Guy goes over the edge, and then the crashing sound a moment later, and say he's cursing as he goes over, and he drops a bit before crashing. This happened once by mistake in 1993, with Bob remarking "Boy, that was quite a drop he had!" but I wish it were a regular thing.

You think that's bad check out the video "TPIR-Anything But A Cliff Hanger" A contestant lost on the first item bidding $350 on a watch that was only $25. That was one of the worst playings of Cliffhangers I've ever seen.
Yeah, that game is so easy! Some people don't pay attention or don't watch the show. The 3 prizes ALWAYS go from least to most expensive... So if the first one is $18, the 2nd one has to be $19+..... On the last one, say you can be off by $13 & still win. You should always go more than $13 above the 2nd prize, and make sure you hit the next highest ending in 0. There are other games that have certain details every time. 10 chances: EVERY prize always ends with 0!
Lol. Guess $20, $30, $40. Your odds of winning are very high with that strategy. But then again, the people who run prize shows absolutely avoid systems people because they are often the ones that break games.
the first time i saw the yodeler go over the edge on TV i just about died of laughter... Maybe cuz i just had an energy drink and i hadnt taken my meds for about 4 days... XD
