I've got a few hours flying both Jetstar I. & II's. Really enjoyed flying them. Now retired. To whoever said this isn't a Jetstar, your correct, it's a Learjet with wing extensions past the tip tanks, and an extra set of engine gauges as a back up. Great video.
@@terhazza He made a statement ,and I responded .You're a little late . Hell I had a cousin tell me an F-15 Eagle had variable sweep wings .I had to set him straight too. How the hell was I supposed to know if he flew Jet stars or not ? He could have been a kid flying a simulator .There's a lot of crackpots out there ,and on here too. I am a retired A/P Tech. I never got to fly anything like that, but when I was a kid, I lived on south side of the airport in Gary, IN and Standard Oil (now Known as BP) had a Jetstar based there. Used to ride my bike out there in the summer to watch it come and go.
I've got a lot of hours flying all models of the L1329.....one of the nicest flying aircraft ever built.....sadly....there's only a few left flying :-(
Were the ground arrangements at the flight's destination to Mr. Goldfinger's complete satisfaction? Bell Ranger (not a Jet Ranger-- it's 1964 after all) idling nearby and so forth upon arrival? Yes? Excellent. You'll now live another day.
Great perspective angle on this other Jetstar feature. The speed up and slowdown frame rate is very cool. Thanks for bringing it to Ytube. ps: they,re used to be a walkaround vid but it's gone now. Is itnpossible for you to do a some exterior and interior coverage? Would love to see the airplane up close and personal,including the passenger cabin details. Thanks!
I would have loved to have flown the Lockheed Jetstar but unfortunately I've been stuck flying the 737 and 747..... is this a Jetstar 731 or the Jetstar 2 ....
