Work In Progress on the Lockheed Jetstar project. Original model by Jim Goldman, updated for FSX, Prepar3D and Prepar3D v4 PBR. The interior and VC are Jim's original modeling, while the exterior is now supported by FSX and P3D.
Hi "G" FYI, looks like Jim Goldman also handed out the source files to a Roland Berger. Do you know him? Any way here is a quote from his post from SOH "Files transferred to Roland Berger.... He will need assistance from the community at large to make it happen. Again the stipulation....freeware....community project....and should be for FSX....Prep.....MSFS2020." I tried to add the link to SOH and the post but my post here would disappear. Look at SOH under FSX Lockheed Jetstar Item #69. I still look forward to your release and hope to see it soon.
My intention is to do that. I'll need to install a dedicated SSD, the new sim and SDK. Once I've had a chance to look at the modeling modality, I'll know what I am looking at.
This one actually survived the data loss Butch. The model is currently P3Dv5 converted and flyable. This video was made in 4.5 before converting to the four channel v5 configuration. The original panel is OK for FSX, but I think it is going to want a full VC build. The cabin model is quite lovely and converted up quite nicely. This one is in the queue, and will be coming over the next weeks and months with all of the other models. Anticipate a release every two weeks.
I am currently in 3D Studio Max 2015 for modeling and sometimes Gmax when working with some old models. Also, the FSX/Acceleration & Prepar3Dv4.5 SDK for compiling etc.
