The b. auratum is so beautiful, but the b. hamorii has a special place in my heart (just like the c. versicolor)!

That Theraphosinae Panama (Panama lava or Pink Panama, I think?) is absolutely STUNNING! Incredible colours!

Petko! I found out when one of the legs from the molt is broken its a good idea(from my experience) to roll a paper towel and put it halfway in the spot where the leg was and its easier to glue the leg cause you just have to put the glue on the paper and put the leg pieces together like puzzles. Hope I helped!

It's a Davus sp panama now. I have a sling and it's just moulted so so beautiful!!

I believe it’s now classified as Davus sp Panama, as for potential species names I think pyros or vulcanus would be good, in reference to them being called the lava spider

Aratum is one of my favorite tarantulas overall. I honestly don’t think there’s a tarantula that has brighter colors unless it’s shiny

Two smaller molts are male. The lava spider is now Davus sp. Panama. Those babies at that stage are called nymphs.

Hi petko I've finally ordered 3 caribena versicolor slings! And 3 gramastola pulcra slings. I wanted some advice on how to house my new versicolor babies. I've watched your videos and many many others, but want to make sure they thrive. Anyone in the comments have any ideas also? I've heard lots of ventilation and moist substrate for the slings cutting back on moisture for juvie to adult, keeping the ventilation high. I'd appreciate any help I can get due to so much conflicting advice online. Tarantulas collective is so different from petkos care. Also I live in the uk, Scotland. It's a cold area. My humidity now in the summer is 37 and temps 29 to 32 during the day, 26 at night. They arrive on the 3rd. I feel like I've done so much research on the species but like I said before, the advice is so conflicting. My first tarantula was a TLILTOCATL albopolosus curly hair tarantula true form. She's awesome. I only got her recently however. Anyway sorry for the long comment guys. Any extra advice would be awesome. Thanks 😊 xxx

The mold is most likely from the Potting soil you mix in.... It is kinda inevitable with most potting soil mixes... It is normally "good mold" for the plants when they are growing... You should look into "Desert Potting Soil Mix"... these usually don't break out as much, you just need to make sure it can dry well enough, while the other stuff in the soil holds the Moisture. Compact it down as well. You could also add regular dirt and dirt clumps to the top layer, with the Sand for texture };p

That’s it. I’ve been watching all of your videos from the very first one until this video (whilst also keeping up with the newer vids). This vid made me enquire about getting my first ever spider - Phidippus regius. And it’s seriously all your fault! Three months of RU-vid has cured 30 years of arachnophobia- serious arachnophobia, not spiders creep me out I mean full on jump out a moving car to get away from a spider arachnophobia. Well played you sneaky b*stard!

After have "locked" it self away in its burrow my T. albopilosum has now molted. Now Im waiting for it to take the molt out of the burrow since that usually meens its hungry and ready to eat.

I know I'm a little late for the "notification squad" hype, but I still feel the need to post this comment, whether it gets buried or not. Before I found your channel a few years back, I was mildly afraid of larger spiders. Being from Canada, we obviously dont have anything that can actually cause any real damage, so my only experience with tarantulas was in science picture books. That being said, this channel has helped me to not only be less squeamish around any smaller critters, but has also increased my confidence in being near the larger ones as well. I even got the chance to hold a tarantula recently and while I was nervous, I actually did it! Thank you for helping me in this way. Your videos continue to teach me new things and always make me smile! 😊

Hi! ✌️😁 That's actually not mold that is a mushroom mycelium and it's an indication of good climate in the terra 😊🍄

I think my C. Versicolor is going to molt in the next few days. I'm excited to see if her colors change any. (She's still mostly blue at this point). As for the Aphonopelma bicoloratum that's sadly not even the longest I've heard of one being in pre-molt. My nieces A. chalcodes didn't eat for just over 2 years after she got it and then molted and started eating fine.

Brachypelma auratum is my favourite Brachypelma. It is probably up there in my top 5 favourite spiders. Your female is Absolutely beautiful.

While I Was watching this video, a spider crawled across me (probably a little smaller then a quarter in size) and I SCREAMED!!!!
