A Salty Mochi The limited/zero craft essence shows Shirou dressed very similarly to Muramasa, with the only difference being the emblem on his left arm, and is described as Shirou’s complete form as a magus. A slightly older Rin and Sakura also appear on craft essences with similar descriptions of them being in their compete forms as magi. Assuming he is Limited/Zero Shirou, he’d be a slightly older Shirou who reached his full potential as a magus and then got possessed.

@@Tfbrave It's apparently not. They just gave him a similar-looking sleeve, I'm guessing as a nod or reference to Heaven's Feel Shirou; but isn't actually Heaven's Feel Shirou.

transformersmoviesp Limited 0 over Shirou in the CE is basically just an amalgamation of Heavens feel Shirou and UBW Shirou, as the tohsaka crest is on him, and the arm along with the shroud. I think there might be a Fate route Refrence in there as well

I'm just thinking this version of EMIYA is the Abridged version, aka MARBLES HURT ME Emiya

I believe that was a hope of EMIYA, but for the most part, he wanted to kill Shirou simply to stop the "Hero of Justice Shirou Emiya" from coming to pass once again. He kinda knew that even if he killed Shirou, it would be unlikely that he himself would cease to be, as becoming a Counter Guardian placed him outside the boundaries of time. Rather, he wanted to destroy Shirou's ideals, and if he insisted on clinging to them, Shirou himself. This is why he asks for his left arm to be grafted onto Shirou's body during the Heaven's Feel route, after Shirou has given up on being a Hero of Justice who saves everyone simply to be a Hero of Justice for Sakura's sake. If he wanted to kill Shirou in hopes that he himself would cease to be, then it would have been easy to just let Shirou bleed out.

No but since they can fight without consequences, he could just enjoy beating this face up

@@asteriskonline3494 When you analyze his actions, especially in the VN, it becomes pretty evident that's exactly what he was trying to do. For example, if Archer had simply wanted Shirou dead, it would have been a simple matter to leave Shirou in the hands of Medea. Medea would have most certainly killed him after taking his Command Spells away. Instead, much like how Shirou himself can't stop himself from trying to save others, Archer instead dove right on in to rescue Shirou. Even after this, Shirou and Archer are left alone. Saber is still dealing with Kojirou Sasaki, and Rin hasn't yet used a Command Spell to restrict Archer from harming Shirou. This is a *perfect* opportunity for Archer to kill Shirou and be done with it all. And instead, he chooses to talk to Shirou first, trying to point out the hypocrisy in Shirou's ideals. It becomes pretty evident that what you suggested is *exactly* what Archer is trying to do. He's trying to save Shirou from the suffering he will experience should he go down this path. Trying to save Shirou from *himself*. He just doesn't want to admit it, and deep down even seemingly wants Shirou to prove him wrong. To validate his existence and the path he walked. Since reading the VN, I've viewed Archer as a jaded, cynical, and resentful version of Shirou. He's a version of Shirou who went too far and failed. And at the same time, he's still very much that same broken young man deep down, desperately trying to claw his way back into the light.
