Honestly, I can't puzzle out why I find your bookshelf tours so fascinating. Subject matter (tis true history and bio are dearest to me), your erudition & insights,the scrumptious Frieda? All of the above at least and maybe I also just want to see the process that makes order out of it all....so I can,umm,aspire.

I usually read more fiction on an average week but I am going to devote half of my week to reading non-fiction due to some of the great sounding books that you show us on these bookshelf videos. Thank you for todays tour.

Really nice tour!! I need London A History In Verse in my life. Amazon saves the day again. I could have done a lot more damage, but I try to be good.

I read Greeks and Greek Love a few years ago. It was well written and very interesting.

Some fantastic looking books there. I actually own a paperback copy of KL that I bought from Waterstones over here in the U.K. unfortunately, every time I feel like diving into it, I get too intimidated by the size of the book. 😔
