I'd just use two different patterns that way, you wouldn't be able to see the shadow from the other fabric. I'd probably put a handle instead of the bias tape around it. I think more people would like a handle I know I would, probably about a 1 1/2 inch handle.
Can you figure out some dimensions to make different sizes. Would love to have some smaller and larger ones. Such an easy way to make a basket for storage.
I would think it’s easy to go up or down on even numbers. For example 18” X 18” then the corners would be 6” if you want deep box . If shallow box then do 4” or 5”. The bigger corners you’ll have deeper box . Smaller corners you’ll have a shallow box Vivian
