I used to work on Kenwood radios, I have moved on to Motorola mow since that is all the city here uses now. Kenwood has been "run out" by the state here it is all Motorola now as far as public services go. I have a couple of businesses that use analog kenwood stuff still. no digital yet.
I just now got home from school. My driver took the radio to the mechanic in the morning, so it's in possession of the bus company right now. The mechanic is considering the trade.
Cool!! I love radio. I listen to a lot of school districts UHF and VHF here in New York. I am renting a UHF repeater. On my Vertex UHF I have the repeater and a talk around channel 464.500 and listen to the Fire Departments and on my VHF got four talk around channels 154.600, 151.940, 151.880, and 151.820 and listen to police.
