I would like to see a look with the green all over the lid... 😍 I have a similar khaki single shade from Catrice.. that I bought years and years ago. Many single shades came and were chucked in the bin! But not this one. I love it. And I feel it looks so refined on the eyelid. I bought my first Dose of Colors quint a while ago and it has a similar khaki/olivey shade.. peachy-golden-khaki color story. Have yet to use it though 🤭
It’s beautiful but rather smoky. I would need a topper to “light it up” so to say. Ohh man never bought eyeshadow from Catrice, some Essence back in the day.

Thank you Mariam, The Lancôme eyeshadows are very underrated. New formula is creamy and smooth. I have PML and ND in my collection but as I passed my middle 40’s I appreciate more subtle eyeshadows and Lancôme definitely one of them. And your eyes went out very beautiful with this Lancôme palette 🙌❤️
I truly laughed out loud when you called Charles a wuss! Thanks for mentioning that this look can be done with Midnight Sun, it’s still my number one Mothership. The Lancôme quint also reminds me a little of NARS Climax from last year, I think we could get a somewhat similar look from that as well. Beautiful look, and stimulating content as always.

I also liked the movie about Eurovision, I found it hilarious now that I live in the Netherlands and watched this year contest 😂 I enjoy Jordan Peele's movies, especially Get Out and Nope. I am also a Ryan Gosling lover :) And he stole the movie in my opinion. He was hilarious! The Ken scenes (and the whole Ken arc) are truly brilliant and I’m sure will become classic quotes. I can’t wait to see it again to pick on the little details.

@@RoseOfMadina I loved it so much (I'm talking about "Tendresse"), that I got a backup, which I rarely ever do. And yes, I've heard very mixed reviews about it, but I'm so glad I've bought it! It looks amazing on the skin, very blurring. It's my favorite blush formula ever. It's baked btw! :) It's not straight up very pigmented, but it's buildable, doesn't need any additional blending, just melts into the skin. Can't rave enough about it!
Poor old Charles. I do have a soft spot for Charles, the man has been banging on about environmental and global warming issues for decades and in the early days the press crucified and ridiculed him. But he was 100% right! I’m also enjoying you rediscovering this quint. It’s a nice detour from PML and I’m so into these more subtle textures ATM. Lately I have been rediscovering Burberry single shadows (which in their day had quite the cult following). Wendy Rowe the makeup artist and creative director of Burberry Beauty at that time created this whole Burberry makeup aesthetic of muted colours and smoky neutral browns. It kind of feels like makeup is heading back in that direction with the whole Latte Makeup trend of late. Anyway, terrific content as usual.
I have seen Barbie!!! 🩷🩷🩷 I loved it so much!!! I laughed, it made me feel nostalgic, it made me think, and it made me cry! It doesn’t get better than that!!! I wasn’t excited about the movie until I knew Greta Gerwig directed it. She co-wrote the movie, too! I haven’t seen Oppenheimer yet, but my son really liked it. Get Out was really good, but I haven’t seen Nope! I’ll definitely watch it. Us looks too scary for me. I’ve watched 2 TV shows I’ve really liked lately. One was Fleishman is in Trouble. It’s the rare mini series that I liked more than the book. We also just finished both seasons of The Bear. At first I didn’t really like any of the characters but by the end of the first season, I loved and cared about all of them. Season 2 was phenomenal and there are so many famous actors who made cameos in season 2! I really like the quint on you!
