okay YES dischidia are amaaaaze so glad you have some now actually surprised you didn’t have prior! feel like you would love ovata, million hearts (both variegated and regular), albida and oiantha variegata (maybe i’m bias bc these are the ones i have and looove so thought i’d share!) loved this plant unboxing and plant haven toronto ty for getting this shop on our radar have purchased many times from them and never disappointed!

i LOVE the dischidia representation especially bengalensis. i never see it anywhere and it’s such an easy fun plant. definitely the biggest plant i have it grows furiously. i’m in LOVE

I have a watermelon dischidia and the care is exactly like a hoya... And it sun stresses beautifully! Keep those little fairy plants on the trellises, they are perfect that way at least until they get bigger! Yay for a new genus!

Gena @The Pink Trellis loves dischidia. She propagated them for her shop. I love all the hoyas but the raphidaphora tetrasperma is my fave! I have the green one. The variegated is stunning,!! Great haul!!

So I was so happy I was not ill about Hoyas and similar plants... you are contagious. I have ordered 3 hoya and one dischidia after your video. I am happy I'm too poor to expensive Anthurium, cause that's a whole new level of plant-addiction. 🤣

Nice plant haul! I've ordered from planthaven toronto about 6 times. The first 4 times I was incredibly happy. The last 2 orders were awful! Plants barely rooted, died a short time later. I stopped ordering from them because I was so disappointed. ** I have over 100 hoya, so I'm not new to this

You will love the Dischidia. I have two - ovata (watermelon dischidia) and ruscifolia variegated (million hearts dischidia). They are easy care, give them lots of light and water when completely dry. Mine bloom all the time, although the blooms are not beautiful like hoya blooms it’s still fun to see happy blooming plants. Enjoy your new plant babies! 💕

It´s so nice to see your joy, good video to start the day. I got a unrooted variegated raphitaphora terasperam top cut a few month ago. I had it laying on some perlite + fluval to propagate and the newest leaf rottet a little bit. Once it had roots and a new leaf growing on the tip I decided to cut it into 4 single node peaces, it was so stressful as it´s one of my most expensive plants. but all cutting took (they already had roots) and show new growth now and all except one show nice variegation I think. I gonna pot it up soon and maybe combine it with my small green one at some point.

Fern Darlin, there are over 8,000 hoya varieties. You could do like me and try to have them all. LOL!! Dichidia are finicky in my care. But you are much more careful than I. I don’t have time for picky. I have over 500 pot plants and a lot in the yard so picky out!! Love the plants you got tho!!! 💚💚💚💚💚🦋🦋💚💚💚💚💚

They trellised those dischidias so neatly! I only see ones that are trailing. I have one here that sunstresseses like hoyas that look like little watermelons (dischidia ovata). Then I just ordered dischidia buttons and variegated million hearts. 🥹 I think their flowers are too small and are not fragrant like hoyas. I love them for their interesting trailing leaves. They're really cute. 🥹

I’ve had too many plants die from Planthaven Toronto to order from them again, at least until they stop using moss. An expensive Lacunosa , finlaysonii, and one I’ve forgotten. Others like my caudata silver and callistophyllia weren’t even rooted, just arrived wrapped in bone dry moss. At 40-60 a pop it adds up. I’m sticking to plant groups for purchases.
