We have a lot of tomatoes but the problem we are having is ground hogs chewing up just enough of them to ruin them. I shot one and thought that was it, but now see another one. I have tried trapping it but it's pretty smart. I came out on the deck the other night and yelled at it, so it ran back to it's home. Next year putting up a fence with electric fencer.
Oh no, groundhogs can do a lot of destruction. We have rabbits but they never bother the tomatoes because we have some other plants they'd rather eat such as strawberries and beans. Keep on tractoring!

Thank you! We've really been surprised how well the hollyhocks have done and they are low maintenance. We would love the entire fence to have hollyhocks growing. Trying to grow as many as we can. Keep on tractoring!

Wood chips for the play structure would probably be better. Took a friend's son to a playground at a school a while back and that was what was on the playground, easy to walk on, and cushions enough to help prevent injuries from kids falling.
I try and can about 200 pints of salsa every year and then the kids have a tomato stand to collect money for charity with what we have left over. Keep on tractoring!
The playground definitely needs something but we're not certain mulch is the best way to go. Still putting some thought into that. 🤔 Keep on tractoring!
