In fact, we have a quince tree in our small apple orchard. In Serbia these quince (dunya) would be made into varous kinds of sweets to give to guests when they arrive, along with a cup of Balkan Coffee, a small glass of raki and a glass of cold water. We give our quince to the local Greeks who so something similar with it.
The color of the blossom on the Quince was almost incandescent pink. Beautiful! Are there apple trees on the grounds? Often, Quince is planted in apple orchards. I do not know the answer to the following question. Are the flowers of the Chaenomele [British variant of Quince] similar to the Quince? Also, has this Quince begun to produce fruit?
