Awesome VR grab bag !!! Packed with all kinds of good stuff in this one. The kid at Ashland holding the sign with Railway company logo's reminds me of when I used to draw those all the time. He did a great job. Other cool features are the BN caboose, 80ft boxcars, fallen flags, Heritage units, accident , dust devil and smokin locomotives and many more. Excellent video VR 👍🏻

Holy crow, that dust devil really was huge! Loved the green caboose and the train logo sign, and I'm glad that no one was on the sidewalk near that corner in La Grange. Also, those were some of the wildest Cryo-Trans names I've seen yet--keep 'em coming and thanks for another great one!

I lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming for 7 years (1974 - 1982) never once did I see a smoking or flaming engine on the UP. Are the RR companies not maintaining their engines the way they should be anymore? Flaming engines scare me because it's so very, very dry here in the west which is why you saw that massive dust devil. Good catch by the way VR. I live in Colorado so dust devils don't surprise me though that one was impressive. Also is there something in the water in La Grange because the drivers there are idiotic. 🤷‍♀

Nice looking German made 1-1-0 at 14:30 ish. Re the smoker in Parkville - BNSF might need to consider a better grade of coal. 8^) Too bad about the ongoing unofficial demo derby in La Grange... Cheers!

Their locomotives were plain red, and this is the first Canadian Pacific ET44, even though it will emerge in CPKC paint with CP markings 4:40 CSX 1897 leading 5:13 smoky exhaust from BNSF 4444 through Parkville, a rather flat section of track 5:48 this smoky exhaust isn't as thick, but definitely noticeable. There's also a Western Pacific hopper on the same train and other interesting freight cars 7:05 giant heavy haulage flatcar and matching caboose 7:20 This car stopped at the stop sign, but I think the blue SUV didn't see that car 8:53 UP 1996 9:10 BN caboose on a Wichita local job 9:55 CSX 1976 and a TP&W boxcar 10:13 NS 38 10:39 NS 1070 leading an MOW train 12:11 BNSF run-trhough oil train in Deshler 12:40 Chessie hopper 12:55 NS green yard loco and slug set trailing on Horsehsoe Curve 13:25 Illinois Central Gulf boxcars

Thanks for the names! I saw 8 Cryo-trans/Lineage cars behind a single UP amongst others in a long manifest at 08-04 in Kearney wich is a good cam to spot them. 8103 at Elkhart at 08-03 has been ignored.

For the life of me, I do not understand why you would goof with your phone while you’re driving a moving vehicle. Stopped at a light, railroad crossing, whatever, is one thing. Most cars made in the last 5-6 years have Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. C’mon people.

If the rail execs would spend less time entertaining clients in their private trains and more on maintenance maybe their locomotives wouldn’t be blowing up.
