'The Quarterback' was one of the most heartbreaking TV show episodes of all time because it was real.. No matter how much I've watched the episode, I still bawl everytime

Yes, it was a very bad way to get it out. He shouldn't have done it. But seriously, if you think she has never done anything wrong to anyone, you are blind. She was a bully, she was mean to everyone. Except Brittany. When someone said anything "bad" to Britt, even if it was deserved, he was burnt down by Santana. She was harassing Finn, especially about his physique. Actually not only Finn, everyone. She even physically attacked Rory. Her only excuse was that she tried to be honest with people when she thought they sucked. On the other hand, no one ever had the right to tell her anything. She felt bad because she did not admit her homosexuality. Finn tried to retaliate against her permanent attacks. Not the best way, but after all, he knew it would affect her. The only way. He shouldn't have lowered himself to her level but it was like karma. She felt all the pain she had inflicted. I'm not saying he was right, far from it, but she was not innocent.

The actual song with all clips of Dave were really intense, yeah. But what got me even more was the short scene afterwards where they showed how Dave's father found him and was just totally devasted and helpless.

While being transgender is not an issue, and Unique is easily one of the best and most talented performers on this show... I have a massive issue with how this show treated Shannon/Sheldon. Her entire arc in the second and third season was about how she was an untraditionally beautiful woman. She wasn’t magazine cover pretty and she knew that... but her compassionate heart and gentle spirit made her beautiful. Then last season comes around and it’s just... “Oh no, I’m actually a man.” It was so disingenuous to what was one of the best story arcs in the whole series. If they wanted a transgender story arc, why not just bring Unique back for the season and discuss her finally taking the first steps towards transition? Or even introduce a new member of New Directions facing a similar struggle... It wasn’t about Beiste’s identity. It was about a convoluted plot that took all the essence and heart out of a good plot. I still get shivers when she looks Cooter in the eye and says ‘Me.’

true. it totally negated everything they established before. that being said, some good things came out of it. the “not who i go to bed with, but who i go to bed as” was a nice way to draw the distinction between gender identity and sexuality and that trans choir of 300 people was really cool. they really should’ve just focused on unique

I expressed similar sentiments when it was announced a while ago and I had many tell me that while it looks sudden on the outside, there are many trans folks that go through a similar journey of believing they are one way and not realizing this change is what they needed and who they really are. So I think your feelings are valid, but put in another perspective, it's not that much of a change to her arc.

Thank you! It bothered me so much when they ended up making her trans. It defeated the entire character arc they had been building and turned into a boring, overused one. Beiste was unique because she was nontraditional female, but a female nontheless, and as manly as she may seem she has feelings and a kind heart. But then they made her transgender as if to "explain" her manly qualities, instead of leaving the uniquely designed character she already had.

Karofsky's suicide attempt with Cough Syrup in the background makes me cry every time. It made me, and others, I'm sure, take a second look at his character. And with mental illness, depression, homosexuality, and bullying on the rise nowadays, it's a very relevant scene that many people could probably relate to.

I connect to my favorite episode"Grilled Cheesus" on a personal level. 1. Kurt almost lost his dad whom had a heart attack. My mom passed on due to primarily pulmonary hypertension. 2. Seeing how kurt was in the episode made me think of how my sister must have been when we lost our mom. 3. Kurt dedicated the song 'Hold your hand' by the beetles infront of the glee club. Two nights before seeing the episode for the first time I had a vision where I came to see mom's side if the family for Christmas,we were all at church together.I was a great singer and dedicated a song to my mom infront of the church. 4. Kurt doesn't beileve in god. I am trying to figure out if I do or not. 5. It was a christian music themed episode which I think mom would have liked. 6. The episode ended with my favorite Christian song "One of us" with my favorite characters Tina,Finn and Kurt singing lead.

My favorite glee moment has to be Burt's graduation present to Kurt. It really shows the love that Burt has for his son and how, despite his son's sexual orientation, its almost like he loves him more because of it.

Glee is one of best TV shows of all times and sometimes I get so frustrated cuz many persons only see glee as musical comedy I mean it is,but it's so much more than that I actually learn a lot of important things thanks to glee and I want to thanks to ms.mojo to still keep reminding glee

When i first watched the school shooting episode i sat on my bed for many minutes in complete shock before rewatching it again to let it sink in. I live in a country that hasn't had such shootings before, so seeing how it is from the perspective of a student was very difficult but very needed

I love Coach Beiste and sobbed whenever she was talking about her abusive relationship and she says whenever she’s asked why she doesn’t leave him,” Because I don’t think anyone else would love me!” Makes me cry everytime.

I love when Kurt wins prom queen and is hurt at first but comes back out and tries to dance with kurofsky who gets scared and Blaine dances with him. I love their proposal and i love all of Glee especially when we follow the og members.

I seriously cried so hard during Cough Syrup... A friend of mine tried more than once to end her life and the things that drive people to that headspace can be so small and insignificant to others, that we barely see their struggles. I’m lucky to still have my friend and that she is getting proper help, but so many others actually succeed in their attempts to end it all.
