Another update on the trail. 

Six of us showed up for the workday today, continuing the trail both down the hill and clearing the next uphill climb to the top. We had two new experienced volunteers, along with Steve and Nina. RV showed up late amd got lost, so after finding him down in the wrong valley I left him with the first group. I decided to shoot a video while returning to where I had left Steve and my gear, and hopefully next week I'll remember to get some more video on the hybrid event.
We'll be hiking the route, and at the same time roughly clearing it. It's a good way to slow down a hike in this heat, as you can stop at any point and just start pruning or acting like you're considered alternative routes along the blazes.
