Sharing with you all another Weekly Indian Meal Prep and full week's worth of meals. This meal plan is based on my kitchen's inventory. I made my plan to use up previously prepared food/food components, either fresh or frozen. And then rounded the meals with pantry staples.
Note: One more of my videos from the past that I've re-edited for this week.

Hi Deepti Ji, I was wondering how are u going to use the moong daal paste, but was amazed to see u making dhokla with air bubbles in it which show how spongy they must be.. And yes, also was astounded to see how well risen the frozen and thawed buns were..

Hi, stumbled upon your channel yesterday..and I am hooked. Great work ..😊 can you share which pots and pans you are using? I love the fact that you use only ceramic and stainless steel ones which are really hard to get perfect ones. 😊Thank you.

Thanks for watching Monica☺️ ceramic pans are from Masterclass brand and if you live in US, you should be able to get them in Homegoods/TJMaxx/Marshals/HomeSense.. stainless steel are from Calphalon (use only triple ply stainless Steel pans/pots - they clean easily and food cooks uniformly). Little bit expensive but worth in the long run… Ive had my SS pans for over 13 years now and ceramic ones for about 4 years. HTH

Deepti, given that you are in NJ, how are you able to get perfect rise on your bread dough ? I am in MA and it’s cold weather most of the time.

Hi Mansi.. I place bowl near my furnace which is in the basement.. area around furnace is warm.. place flattened cardboard on the floor, then place dough bowl on it, cover it with warm kitchen towel (don’t dampen- just warm towel on warm rava) and for added insurance 😂 pace a cardboard box over it! that’s the secret 🤫 HTH

Quick question: Did you do second rise before freezing the pav dough balls ? How many rises before freezing ??
@diptyjoshi4495
@diptyjoshi4495 Год назад
Hi Rupa👋 only one rise before freezing, second rise after thawing them out from freezer.. just make sure you do a 90 minute first rise (if you are making it in cooler months, 60 minutes for warmer months), followed by making dough balls and flash freezing them (30 minutes of quick freezing in single layer) and then placing all of them together in a bag for freezing for 6-8 weeks.. when you are thawing out make sure you thaw them out directly into the baking pan that yo intend to bake in.. so butter your baking pan and place frozen pav dough balls, and thaw them at room temperature (about 2-2.5 hours) and then butter the tops, loosely cover (not tight otherwise they will not rise) with plastic wrap (not kitchen towel) and let rise for 1 hour in warm draft free area (I usually do this by my furnace in winter).. HTH😊

@@diptyjoshi4495 just wanting to confirm 2.5 hours thaw before applying butter 1 hour thaw after applying butter Correct na ??? I too live in NJ South Brunswick If you come this side pls come over.

@@rupalakshminarayan4943 yes! I have seen that buttering before doesn’t give a good rise. Not sure why happens.. have to do a side by side prep to get a better idea Yes for sure.. once couple months I come to New Brunswick area.
