Definitely does feel Peggy inspired, reminds me a lot of his Devon Hendryx stuff! You for sure got your own thing going on here though and I really fuck with it, you could keep going with this style and make some great shit and I think it could sound even better when you're not constrained to making it sound like Peggy. Hey man, curious if I bought the exclusive license to any of these if I'd be able to get access to the stems (or maybe even the ableton files if thats what you used) and edit things up to fit with my style? Hey! So I currently sell the beats on my Beatstars, and I do have an option for each beat to place a offering price for an exclusive license, but I’m not sure how much I would charge for something like that. If you wanted to make changes, you totally could! If you buy an exclusive license I do give stems, I probably couldn’t give ableton files because I’ve archived a lot of these beats and also they probably wouldn’t work anyway on someone else’s computer if they don’t have the same plugins. But yeah if you are interested, definitely place an offer an Beatstars and we could negotiate/talk about the pricing and other information there! Thanks!

How do you get those Peggy kicks where it feels like it deafens the rest of the track? Is it a trait of the kick sound itself or can you get it through effects? Nice beats :)

For that I use sidechaining to compress the instrumentation or sample whenever the kick plays :)

its kind of impossible to recreate his sound, so whenever people make beats inspired by him (me included) you end up getting some really cool off kilter shit that you wouldnt normally make, while still staying true to ones own niche/style as a producer. Overall super cool! Love beat 1 6 7 and 8. Very industrial and weird

I think a little over 3 years, but I really started taking it seriously and trying to improve about a year ago. It definitely starts out overwhelming, especially learning a new piece of software, but eventually it becomes second-hand, and also gets more fun
