Thanks, Denise! One workaround about needing to take your hat off is tucking a similar full wig in your bag to change into. This was very good info that no one else is addressing.

Hi Denise! Another option is Henry Margu Hat Wigs. Ballcaps with hair attached around the edges. I just have thinning on the top with length everywhere else. I pull my own hair into the wig hair as a pony tail and absolutely love it. So natural looking and cool to wear. Price around $100 and multiple lengths/colors.. Available at various retailers. Hi! Yes, I've referred people to those when they have asked for something more budget friendly than these. I wish I could wear those synthetic hat wigs, then I could try other colors!

6:29 you can even to some extent fix the hair. I have given my hh wigs an Olaplex treatment and also coconut oil treatments. And you can cut a little off when the ends get frizzy as you would do with your own hair

Hi Denise…You always seem to nail topics I’m currently interested in hearing about. Being new to wigs, I’m still in the experimentation phase trying to decide which wig styles and colors look best with my skin tones. I get confused by warm and cool tones. (Choosing online wig colors is the hardest decision for me.) Wearing or not wearing makeup when trying on wigs was a topic of interest I had questions about so I’m glad you touched upon that topic. I don’t wear full makeup daily. When running errands, I wear just a tinted moisturizing sunscreen and lipstick. Sometimes, I’ll throw on mascara and that’s about it. I’ve also been looking for a combination wig/hat to throw on when needed. Thank you for discussing both these topics!

Hi Denise. I have been looking at wide-brimmed hats for sun protection. It's certainly the type of hat that I'd want to take off when I need to. So, I started to look at human hair wigs marketed to the melanated community, such as ISEE Hair, HairVIVI, and RPG Show. Typically, their human hair wigs are at least half what you would find elsewhere, and their sales are incredible. I bought a human hair wig with 360 lace, 150% density, and virgin Indian hair on clearance for $156.00. Several of these sites claim that the hair is ethically sourced. I haven't done any digging, but if it's true, that's good to hear. Have you looked into companies like this? Please let me know what your thoughts are.

What swings me to full wig under hat was seeing a lady have her hat pulled over her head to reveal her partial wig and bald to of her head. She was horrified.

Do you still like/love the Amazon pony wigs? Just wondering how they have held up for you. And the Vivica Fox “Orlando”….how are they doing or have they just been retired? Thank you for all you do and all that you are❤

I still absolutely LOVE my amazon headband wig and wear it often in a messy updo... I don't wear it down so when I want to wear a headband wig down I wear my curly Milano bandfall. As for Orlando... I haven't worn that one in awhile now but really should pull her out. I always wear that one in a ponytail as well.

Thanks for the helpful info. You look like a kid without your makeup on!!😊 I always wonder why Milano and other wig companies don’t make a high quality human hair headband wig, that you could still part behind the headband, has a lightweight cap and you can put in a medium high ponytail . If anyone knows of one I would be interested in knowing about it! Thanks and Happy Holidays!!

Thanks to you I purchased a Milano 16” hatfall wig, - wavy, dark brown balayage. (Hair is permed and lovely) It is beautiful and so comfy but is a bit too large. I probably should have gotten a small. My circumference is 21.25 but my ear to ear is 11.5. I know Milano will do an alteration but as I wear hats every day ( lots of outdoor activities, particularly hiking with my Aussie Ryder) I don’t want to be without it. I much appreciate that you didn’t wear makeup in this video. You made some great points on that. Thank you!

I'm so glad you love it, too!! Mine is big on me now as well, since I lost weight my head has shrunk, lol. It still works ok, but I may sew a few wefts together and see if that helps. I would LOVE one of their permed hat wigs! I have a permed bandfall from them and absolutely LOVE it!

I wonder if, in order to get the benefit of the long lasting and non tangling human hair at a cheaper price, but have top coverage as well, it would be possible to combine a hat wig with a synthetic topper? Do you think something like that would be possible? Hat wigs seem like a great way to get human hair at a lower price - but I don't wanna be locked in to never taking my hat off. If the "hairless" section was closer to a natural scalp color it might work. Cheap, short synthetic topper over a hat wig (instead of a hat) would be a fun experiment.

Hi! Yes it can! If you have biohair that you can leave out you can actually pull it up in a higher ponytail or through the hold in the back of the cap... if not then you can put it in a low ponytail. I love to wait my longer hat wigs in pigtail braids!

To be honest it depends on how I want to wear it. When I want to wear my hair down under a hat then I reach for this one.... if I want to wear a hat wig in pigtail braids then I reach for The Hustle Wig. I love the top of the cap on my Milano better, but I like the closed wefting on The Hustle Wig a little better. One thing to note, the Hustle Wig hat wigs come with ear tabs standard and they now charge to remove them. Since I prefer no ear tabs that puts the Milano wig ahead for me. They are both great, though... so I would recommend you choose one based on which features are most important to you and which one has a better price when all is said and done. Hugs!
