I'm glad you, Greg and the horses ended up safe & ok with all the wildfires Natalia! I can't wait for this years Nanowrimo too! I'm planning on working on a sequel for my YA novel, that I hope can become a duology. I didn't plan on it being. series at first, but I got some new ideas that just randomly came to me, and I really liked the plot idea I had for them. Hopefully the wildfires calm down soon, those seem scary!

56k of Spicy paranormal romance, huh? This is shaping up to be very intriguing indeed. I remember you mentioning possibly releasing this under a pen name, so I'm very curious how different of a path this book takes. It sounds like you've really found a good mode for this project, I've noticed you went from struggling to make time for it, to already working on book two at a pretty good rate. Momentum isn't easy to maintain for writing, but if you're able to hang with it at this rate, you'll have the whole trilogy done within a year or two. Here's hoping for success! Looking forward to hearing more about it when you're ready to share. Cheers! 😃

Sheesh, the fires must be so stressful! When you do have to evacuate, do you have a destination / people with whom you stay? Or is it just driving to get out of the way until you're told it's safe to come back?

Haha, you sure did! We give her haircuts at home; she stays nice and calm that way, and we can work on her hair over a few days to avoid stress. ☺ I love that little tail tuft!

@@NataliaLeigh Hi 👋 I have been struggling with wanting to become an assistant editor, but not knowing what resources to do to get up to speed. I know you mentioned in a previous vlog to take courses. I am a former journalism mass comm grad with a focus in journalism. I realized news is not my interest, but it is 4 yrs. post college and any editing skills I was developing I have forgotten. I want to make sure my grammer, flow etc. is where it needs to be for an assistant editor position before I apply. Any suggestions for resources and how do I know when I am ready to apply? I work fulltime so alot of internships and volunteer work really isn't much of an option for me. Thank you, your videos on editing have been helpful 🙂
