I have a question. I’m just getting ready to upload my first manuscript to KDP. If there are formatting problems, the only recourse is to redo in PDF and then upload again to PDQ. This may sound ignorant, but there’s no option of working within THE PDK system to MAKE the changes. Correct?
i do sorta the same, just roided up. i've had outlines range from 20k-40k word count and it takes me months to do it all. i working on novel next right now and i won't start it for a few more months
Help! Did you ever make a video expanding upon the header and footer? How do we remove header and page numbers only from Chapter pages without restarting the count?

I think you can put your inbox on vacation mode that will automatically send a response saying you are out of office until the date you plan to come back. You might mean that, but email signature means the bottom of your email in my brain. I worry that some people might not see it.

Yes - a copyright exists as long as it is an original idea put down in some kind of physical medium. That is, when you write it as a Word file, and email it to yourself, you have total copyright protection with a date stamp under the law. If you want to file with The Library Of Congress you get a number which can help in the event of a legal dispute.

Hey there Natalia. Congratulations on your first contemporary romance. I have watched your videos regularly for a few years and find them informative. Are you publishing all your different sub-genres under the same pen name? I keep getting advice to have different pen names for when I release different sub-genres (sci-fi, PNR, AU Historical fiction), but I am flat chat trying to keep up with one pen name. What's your take on this?
Thanks for the question! Because I'm publishing romance under a new pen name, I opted to keep both my contemporary and paranormal romance (and likely any other subgenres I write) under that single pen name. I find marketing to be quite time-consuming, so yet another author platform really doesn't feel accessible to me, and it would make it even more difficult to build a backlist if I were to further separate my books by genre. I could certainly follow up on this in the future and give my thoughts on whether it works for me or not.
