you mean editor, and director - if there was one. producers don't do anything besides giving money, and choosing the editor (although not even that if they go through agency)
5:15 "For a long time, I have watched the rise and fall of many teams, but the player who stood at the end was always me." is such an incredibly hard line from Faker (along with "all roads lead to me" at 4:35)
When guma says he is gunna crush you, what he really means is he is going to 1v2 your hypercarry and toplaner at knife range holy shit that dude is good
The way Faker delivers "Ruler, you must not forget - all roads lead to me" is so cold. His language is incredibly polite. He doesn't refer to Ruler as just "Ruler", but puts his professional title after it. It doesn't translate well because 선수 (seonsu) literally just means "player" in English, but it's a sign of respect. TLDR: Faker is a classy raid boss.
Theres a few i can think of...the "LETS GO JUSTIN!!!" Before the iconic evo moment 37... or my personal favorite and the birth of a legend and god "LOOK AT THE PLAYS LOOK AT THE MOVES FAKER WHAT WAS THAT"
The pinnacle of all e-sports, in the sense that his name reaches far beyond the scope of League of Legends unlike any goat of any e-sports out there both in the past and in the current era.
I like how Caster Jun said this painting is incomplete without a King as its backdrop. And You see Faker doing exactly that completing the painting in the end. 🐐🐐🐐🐐
@@Pyxyty No League pro player is richer than Faker in terms of prize money, net worth, and annual earnings. There are a lot of players who are paid more than Faker in terms of annual salary/contracts but Faker easily clears all of them cuz of sponsorships.
@@redwater1342exactly, if bro wins his 4th he deserves an exclusive skin out of the main 5 (6 if including the fmvp) a legendary or an ultimate skin would be good
Let’s be real for a second. This era of life we are in is amazing. As an avid fan of sports like the NBA, NHL, etc, I also fell in love with eSports. The thing that makes me beyond grateful is that not only are we watching something we love as fans, but you can tell that the people producing this - from the music, to the casting, to the players, costreamers, etc - love it just as much. We are in a great time in life, because it’s very rare that this kind of passion is shared so consistently from one end to another. Region skill and other factors are one thing, but the passion is clearly there. I can’t wait to see the finals opener this year. I’m going to be SICK to my stomach with hype and fear at every twist and turn, and that’s the best part about this all. I will look back YEARS from now and remember original SKT, the Ashe arrow, Mata’s dominance, the Zyra mf picks that changed the meta in a quick sweep, DK’s reign of terror with Canyon (my personal jg goat) leading the charge, DRX with their Cinderella story, and now a chance to repeat this Cinderella story with Weibo and TheShy, or crown an old king once again on the 10th anniversary of his first, and the 15th anniversary of the game. Life is such a blessing.
To be very honest, Weibo's cinderella run hits hard but doesn't hit as hard as T1's current run. T1 struggling during summer and DRX's insane cinderella story that even Weibo can't match probably contribute a huge amount. I can still see Weibo winning and having their own story but if they play like they did against BLG, where the bot lane struggled a lot, then they probably won't win due to how good Guma and Keria have been. Really excited to see the TheShy and Zeus match up. 2 in form top laners, probably the most in form and the best too, going head to head is going to be amazkng.
They kept excluding him from every talk and every tier list. He’s always been on top and he proves it yet again today more than ever. Guma you are undoubtly the best AD in the world.
I think his talent was hidden behind Keira’s god tier supporting But recently, the rare instances where Keria slip up, we see Guma ascending to godhood
It will be a VERY sad day when faker retires. I wasn’t around for Michael Jordan, but I would understand why the people who lived in his times can’t put Bron over him. Faker’s impact is more than just in game. And even if someone had more titles, or POGs, or nicer stats. There’s just something that they can NEVER have. And that’s his aura. We should appreciate him while he’s still dominating. My GOAT
@@blackjk1234a day will come when someone’s gonna be as good if not better than him. Where he shines is in the impact he’s had for the game. I knew faker long before I started playing the game. His grandma said it better than me you can ignore the game but a lot of people outside of it have heard of him
The producers of the teasers are probably so grateful that there is faker, because man has such a long career and went against a lot of players that makes it so easy to "create" a story for the teaser lol.
As a hard T1 fan since their SKT reigns, knowing that T1 has indeed ended the golden road of JDG brings a different level of satisfaction in me. This just gives me chills. When Faker fell with SKT in 2017, it felt like the World was silent, and now that they've reclaimed their throne, the whole world is loud again!
Have you heard about Guma's confidence and how spiteful he gets when underestimated? He was the bench ADC for Teddy, but was getting lots of offers. He turned them down while telling T1 management he ain't going anywhere until he showed them that they fucked up. 17 years old. When I was 17, I was a spineless wreck.
Technically T1 was one game away from 2015 MSI against EDG; even though they ever won all 3 coming into the Worlds. They were one game away from winning 2015 MSI.
T1 was one game away from 2022 MSI and 2022 Worlds..they are a juggernaut.. how many worlds finals is that for Faker now? 6 (13, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23) that is insane - and in each run he was instrumental - today's performance on Azir - the emperor - the champ that got him subbed out because he couldn't play it well back in the day, now he is the best in the world at the champ and paved the road to finals for it for the second time in a row - now he meets an Azir main in finals - what a story, let's see who the emperor favours
@@johnkirk1772 tbf, Xiaohu's performance in this worlds is being questionable since the beginning of it, but at the finals it can change. Let's see. It will be a banger series as well
AHHHH chills everytime with the music fade out...."all roads lead to me" LEGENDS NEVER DIIIIIEEE! They knew the assignment and got an S+ / A+ / Top Merrit WHATEVER YOUR DEFINITION OF PERFECTION IN YOUR SCHOOL THEY GOT IT BUT BETTER!
Knight got gapped in the series but a lot of why ruler could pop off throughout the year is because knight and 369 were great at enabling and controlling space
I feel like this is literally the Faker anthem, and also an excellent foreshadowing many years after. Looking back, this song was the World's anthem the year Faker lost the finals. It kinda foretold that Faker would lose, but because "legends never die", the legend would still continue for years to come and rises to the top again 6 years later
Honestly, if they manage to get me even half as excited for WBG vs T1 as they did for this matchup it may be one of the most hype finals in a few years.
@@staithI mean Last year was quiet disappointing. Everyone expected T1 to win but they lost. This year T1 is beating one LPL Team after another without having ever lost to an LPL team in a best of five at worlds, stopping JDG's golden Road, Oner getting a glowup, T1 being in Finals back to back, Faker having a chance to hold the title after 10 years of his career in his homeland and ofc Keria being able to meet NewJeans. How can you not be hyped to the fullest.
@@ghost_cat5693 no, i get it. im really hyped for the finals this year. i think the finals has some really great storylines and narratives surrounding. but op said "...it may be one of the most hype finals in a few years",, assuming he found last year not as hype as the other ones. hell, even worlds 2021 finals is hype.
To be fair, the storyline that TheShy, who placed the first crown for LPL, going against T1 has a nice ring of story to it. Imagine, The dynasty that is T1, wrecking the top 3 LPL teams by themselves, finally meets the team with the person who gave LPL its first ever Worlds trophy. Its some tight shit. The first-crown of LPL vs the LPL-slayer, its LPL defending their first pride and their last contender. Chefs kiss.
@@cocorndrap7246There is also xiaohu who has never even made it to world's finals even though he has won MSI thrice. Can he perform when it matters the most?

The Song of world23 said “ once you play G.O.D, once you play G.O.D. There are gonnay crumble one by one” like T team slayer one by one LPL team. This is true prediction of riot’s song
Teaser is insane, this is why legacy is important to create an epic story, T1 has always been like the gatekeeper of worlds, they always fall short, so having this scene 6:14 where faker blocks the worlds trophy is SKT indeed, then you have faker's last line 7:20 describes faker's career being the at top level for so many years consistently while his peers who started at the same time is nowhere to be seen or not in the peak anymore.
T1 is consistent since most of Worlds tournaments, they are always present. Whether they win or lose, the fact that they even stood on stage that many time is already an achievement.
last year we have gotten the insane Faker vs Deft ark, the insane BO5 series and beatiful win for Deft (I am a T1 fan but I can still appreciate that) this year we have got the same matchup in semifinals as in last years semis but theres a Ruler in the opposing team - the guy who stopped Faker from getting world championship title 3 years in a row Faker defeated him, got his revenge and showed JDG, that if someone ever gets the golden road, then its gonna be them for the first time. Crushed their golden season dreams and sent them home. T1 coming back to finals, where they lost last year against the 4th LCK seed. This time they are gonna be against 4th LPL seed. IDK about you guys, but I am starting to believe that life is just an anime and Faker is one of the main characters.
HOLY FUCK THERE ALREADY ARE COMMENTS BUT 4:39-4:46 THE PAINTING IS NOW COMPLETE BECAUSE THEYRE SHOWING "THE KING" FAKER HOLY FUCK SCRIPT WRITERS ARE SO FUCKING GOATED!!!!!
Faker is THE esports player. No other player has had the longevity, the dynasty, the story, the accolades, across ANY other game. If I was to compare him to a sports player it would be Wayne Gretzky. Some have accomplished part of what he has, but nobody will accomplish ALL that he has.
maybe there are other people like this, but i personally, i dont think there is another person as synonymous with their sport as Faker. Plenty of great players have come and gone, but none have had the impact and staying power as Faker. He truly is the face of LoL.
