Anson Belt Review 2019 | Does Anson Belt Last???

I bought the Anson belts back when they were just starting out, meaning that their selection was limited as opposed to how many different choices that have nowadays. I only had to purchase new straps this past week because the ones I had finally bit the dust. Still, 6 years of everyday use before having to replace the straps isn't that bad for just $25. My only two gripes are that if you don't use a strap for a while, the "leather" will crack. I guess it all comes down to how you store these. I simply had them hanging on a belt hanger in my closet. I had bought the black faux alligator strap that I rarely used but after a while, I went to use it and noticed that the tip of the strap had severely cracked. The other issue is that the end of the strap that hooks to the buckle will eventually break off. It's hard to explain, but since the buckle uses 5 spikes to dig into the strap to stay in place, your everyday use will gradually tear at it until it eventually breaks up. Once that happens, you have to cut a sliver of the strap so you have a fresh surface for the spikes to dig into once more. Over time, you'll be chipping away at the strap until you no longer have enough strap for it to properly close. This is what happened to me recently and why I had to buy a new pair of straps. Overall, Anson belts will last for a good amount of time for their price, but bear in mind that you WILL have to eventually replace the straps.

I've had my anson belts for 2 years now and worn them everyday and still holding up really well to this day. Plan to buy some Anson Belts for my brother for Christmas this year

Recently Anson Belt added a hanger to their product list, that way you can hang your belt with the buckle on the lower end, which might stretch out the dent you mentioned in the video. By the way great, review. I was thinking about buying an Anson Belt so I searched for reviews, what led me to your channel and after just two videos I liked the way you present your information so much, that I subscribed and will continue to watch your videos :)

Earlier this year I got a slidebelt belt didn't even last a Year was constantly having to resize until was unable to use belt because the teeth would tear into leather back

Try Kore belts they're outstanding! In my opinion the best belt and buckle on the market at any price. I now have three of these sets and these are the only belts I wear...

You should review the Grip6 belt. They are lifetime guaranteed.

Nice video Anson belts don't ship in India though but we somehow also feel that they are worth the hype.

Just purchased anson belt hopefully last longer than slide belt

I just took an Anson belt out of its buckle for the first time in several months, and noticed that the brass buckle is starting to get a little green on the inside. How would you suggest to clean this? With a toothbrush? It's in that crack where you insert the belt.

Now that you're four years into owning the Anson, how are the leather belts holding up? As durable as you thought? How about the buckles? Do you still wear them?

I don’t understand. So the track doesn’t go all the way down the length of the strap? It looks like the section of track is just on a small section of the belt.

I own anson but for heavy pockets I’m switching to edc belts.

What size belt did you get...1.25" or the 1.5"?

Nice belts but the buckles have both broken at the pivot point its two separate pins one on each side It should just be one pin might help lasted less then 3 months on each buckle.

My only complaint is that their so-called 1.5" straps are actually 1.375" . . . so why call them 1.5"??? 🤦‍♂️ They even admit this in their detailed description of the straps, but it's deceptive to title it one measurement and then basically say in the fine print "lol, just kidding, it's not really 1.5" Bizarre.

That just means that you’re belt is to tight
