My personal best fish was a 21" Rainbow Trout off the American River in Northern California when I was stationed at Alameda Naval Air Station back in the 80s!

My PB this year is a solid 5 pound 4 ounce largie! It was in Louisiana, it was very surprising because it was this past February and we had a ice storm come through. So I was fishing in my uncles pond using an open face with like 15 pound monofilament, a cork, a small hook, and a minnow. It surprised me so much but I caught it.

Norm is like One of the best fishing RU-vidrs, and also my biggest fish I’ve ever caught is a 150+ pound white marlin

Devon aint scared of no snakes. Hip deep in grass anytime he hears it’s a big one.

The line is the same as a strap. It is in the middle not at the end. So if you tie a lure on, it won’t reduce it too much but if you tie a knot in the line 30’ up it will break at 50% of the test strength.

Never had a baitcaster but my friend let me try his and I loved it so much and now I am saving my money for one

Personal best 7 foot blacktip reef shark around 100 pounds. I’ve been fishing since I was 7 so about 13 years. Won a tournament and came in 2nd in another tournament. Only participated in 2 tournaments. Never had a rod and reel combo that was bait caster. 😂 I know I’m late but hey why not. Rock on Norm- from a CT resident.

My biggest fish is a bass but it was only like for pounds but I don’t have a scale and I just measured it and did what you did in a past video. I was going to buy a abu Garcia but I’m not the best at bait caster I tried it but I all ways back lash. I think it’s cause I have a cheap reel

Well, when I was like 10, I had one of those little snoopy poles and was fishing from the boat ramp after a long day of canoeing with a river clean up team in southern Missouri. I guess at some point I caught a crawdad and added him to my little jig hook with whatever plastic was on there and managed to fight in a 28+ inch brown trout. Unfortunately, where we were at or maybe even Missouri law everywhere, you can't use live bait to target that species and therefore I couldn't keep the fish and we debated on having it mounted with the pole below it. Fun experience but now, trout is one of the fish that I hate to target, I can never seem to catch them lol

Large Mouth bass, just under 2 lbs. unfortunately don't get to fish as often as I would like. but would definitely find more time if I had a reel as nice as the SLX DC.

My best fish was a 32 Inch Black Trout, wish I knew how much it weighed. My best bass is a two and a half pounder but I started bass fishing a couple weeks ago and have been fishing nonstop ever since.

My pb is 6 pounds and 12 ounces. It's on my pic here for RU-vid. I caught her in 4ft of water at the spillway with a weightless wacky rig senko on a one ought octopus hook.

Nice vid! Best fish in my opinion was a 26" German brown I caught in Pagosa Springs Colorado on a Black and yellow/ gold Panther Martin.

I caught a summer flounder when I was a kid… funny story to it was as a kid my family would wake up at 2am to walk to the Long Beach pier and I had to share a pole with my older brother he got tired of waiting and handed me the pole as soon as I touched it BAM I got a hit

Lake Michigan isn’t the biggest lake. Some sources combine Michigan-Huron together as a lake. Superior is 31,700 sq miles Huron is 23,000 and Michigan is 22,300 .
