Thank you for all the informative videos, I have watched several and have learned much. One question I have on Bookbolt word search, is can I change the spacing between the letters in the puzzle to free up space without changing the font size?
I don't believe you can, the generator uses as many letters as it needs to be able to place all of the words within the puzzle. Although you could try using fewer, as well as shorter words. That may space the letters out a bit.
So, I've started a book in book bolt, but now I've changed my mind as to the dimensions; can I resize the project or do I have to just start a new project? Thanks! You're the best!
Thank you for this video! It answered a lot of my questions. I have another question, and forgive me if you have answered this in another video (I haven't made it through all of your videos yet, LOL), is it possible to clone multiple pages at a time in Book Bolt? I understand how to clone one page, but can I create a set of say, four pages that I want to repeat in my book and clone the set, or am I limited to cloning one at a time. Thanks! And if you do have a video showing this, which one is it? :D

You don't need to do it, it's just a good idea. To see what a copyright page looks like, just pick up any book and turn to the second page. It normally just contains the copyright information (ie Copyright 2023 All Right Reserved by Lil Taufi), plus the book's ISBN number. You can also add a little blurb that promotes your Amazon Author Page or any websites you have. You can see one of my copyright pages here: amzn.to/3mPA5z0 Just use the "Look Inside" feature.
Your comment at the beginning takes me back to being asked to describe to a class, something I already knew, and thought was common knowledge. The explanation I gave of it was coming at it from a master's degree level of understanding which was not helpful. We need to learn to break things up so those, that do not understand get to grips with what we try to teach.

Do you know if there’s any copyright problems with using them/ their pictures? I know it’s specifically made for KDP but I’ve seen so many videos about accounts being banned for copyright infringement from creative fabrica and other sites. Just wanting to start off on the right foot !! Thank you again ❤️✨
No there's no reason why using Book Bolt would be infringing on someone's content. The only copyright infringement that I've heard of from Creative Fabrica, is from people using the images they purchase for commercial products, without purchasing the commercial license. You should be fine.
Hello this was helpful, my left side with icons have gotten smaller and I same not to be able to get it back also on the same side is my pages are missing. can you help please
You didn't show them how to delete multiple pages at once. Holding shift or ctrl key to pick multiple pages, and then right click and delete pages. Yes it did it when video recorded. You go over moving pages and you clone and delete and everything else. Why aren't you using page up down and move page to, it shows up right on your menu when you right clicked! For word search extra words, don't add a blank. Just use row 1 to 22, then a blank row. :)
1. Most people know how to select multiple pages, it's the same in every software. 2. The question that I was answering in that section was actually "How to reorder pages (if the move feature isn't working properly)?" This was when the studio was fairly new and quite glitchy. I was just giving them an alternate way to do it. 3. The point of that section was just to include some additional shorter word options for the generator to choose from.
Good morning. Another great video. However I'm having a difficult time centering the numbers into the middle of a Sudoku puzzle grid. For some reason, the numbers in my Sudoku puzzles are all at the top of their individual boxes instead of being centered, and I am trying to figure out how to center them. Watching this video, I thought it would be as easy as "editing the contents" as you did here with the Word Search, but I'm not finding this option when I right click and highlight the Sudoku grids. In fact, it's not even letting me highlight them! At any rate, any instruction you have would be most appreciated. Aloha.
Make sure that all of your margin settings at the top of the generator are all set to the same number. In fact, it's probably best to just leave them all set to 0. When I tried it, they all come out centered.
@@CraigBabin No, these Sudokus were created from another site and downloaded to my computer, where they are normal, and then opened up on BookBolt because I need to make some modifications. But when I open them up on BookBolt, they are "corrupted" in this manner.
@@mellowmoods8393 Oh, well then I'm pretty sure you won't be able to modify anything created with different software. Because anything uploaded to Book Bolt will be flattened into and image or PDF.
Thanks so much. I’m trying to create my first book and encountered a problem. Do you know if after you created your puzzle pages( and added specific differentiated graphics for each page), can you edit a puzzle word? For example, I just noticed one puzzle used the same word twice! Is there a way to fix this without restarting the whole process? Thanks
I don't think there is. Once the puzzle is generated, it has to stay that way. I think you're going to need to regenerate it. I would submit a ticket to Book Bolt if I were you, a duplicate word in the same puzzle shouldn't happen.
Choose the two pages you want to use for your spread; remember, the first page of your book is a single page, every two consecutive pages after that are part of a spread. (ie 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, etc.). If your book is an 8x10 book, make sure that it's set up for bleed, and make sure that the graphic you want to put on the spread is 16x10 (the exact size of the spread). Then, paste the image on the left page (ie page 2) first and make sure that the left side of the image is perfectly aligned with the left edge of the page. The right half of the image will be hanging off of the right side of the artboard. Then, paste that same image on the right page (ie page 3) of the spread, and make sure the the right side of the image is perfectly aligned to the right side of the page. Now the left side of the image will be hanging off of the left side of the artboard. If your image is perfectly aligned to both the top and bottom edges of each page, then when you render out your book from Book Bolt as a PDF, the right side of page 2 (the gutter) and the left side of page 3 (the gutter) should line up perfectly.
Okay so I think mine is glitching. It generates my wordsearch words but they are invisible and I can only see them when I down load them. Why can't I see the word search words at the bottom of the word search? HELP
I have no idea. The only thing that I can think of, is that you have your word font color set extremely close to white, or you're using a font style that Book Bolt studio doesn't recognize. If it's neither of those reasons, then this sounds like something that you need to submit a ticket to Book Bolt to solve. Sorry.

I'm on the 3 day trial with BB, and unimpressed. The 'How To Upload Your Interior PDFs' tut is out of date with current UI, I contacted the 'Help' desk and they have no answer! All day I've been trying to add a bulk interior load of pages but cannot fathom it out, it just keeps adding one page. I asked if I can change/edit the interior margins, again no definite answer. Also, What is Book Bolt Studio?

Select a page from your book interior. 2. Click on your "File Library" icon in the left menu bar. 3. Inside of the popup menu select the "Upload PDF" button. 4. In the PDF popup menu, select "No Margins" (because your book interior will already have margins). 5. If you want to change the file numbering option, you can do so at the bottom. 6. Click the "Choose PDF File" button at the top of the menu. 7. Select your PDF document from your computer and hit the open button. 8. You will be given the option to bring in "all of the pages" or just a "select page" (pick one). 9. Click the "Submit" button. All of your PDF pages will be converted to PNG files because that's what Book Bolt deals with.
